I'm gonna give that new FarCry a listen to on this upcoming holiday weekend !

Ooh, that's a good one; I actually think it may be my favorite from them yet!

I Am Your Man, Broken Dreams, Long Distance Love Affair, and Chasing Rainbows are faves. :headbanger:

Didn't like it at all to be totally honest.

I think he is that kind of singer you wither grow to like, or find annoying.
Took me a long time to dig some of his stuff, probably started with a couple of Slash songs on that album where he was one of a few singers.
Then I tried a whole album of his and it hurt my ears for a while...

Good shout on the demotional album

Been enjoying that one a lot

Me too mate, perfect mix of heaviness, keys and melody. Gets better with each spin.

Prediction: Unless there are some consensus out-of-the-park releases in the second half of the year above and beyond what we've seen thus far, 2021 is going to see the widest variety of albums in people's top 5-10 lists and the least amount of overlap ever. There are some crazy good albums out there this year across many genres.

I had a think about this the other day and definitely there are about 10 really good to amazing releases so far this year which is unusual cos I usually get to that figure by the end of the year, however after those 10 there is a whole lot of average shit to wade through as usual imo.

Just in terms of whats coming up, these have me excited - not sure they will all be this year tho??

Vega

Robin Red

Houston

Winger

Dan Reed Network

Fans of The Dark

Crazy Lixx

Tremonti

Nestor

And I'm guessing these will be 2022? Harem Scarem, Journey, Eclipse, Defiants, Degreed

Not out on streaming until 8/17.  But it is available now digitally on their bandcamp site and you can listen to the songs.  I kind of like how they also make the lyrics available.

Sounds great to me, but US$35 after sales tax and shipping is just too much. Will have to stick with digital for this one.
