Gotthard....then Airbourne. A small shout out to Scorpions and the beautiful ballad, "Love Will Keep Us Alive," from the Humanity album.

really close between Crazy Lixx, Ted Poley and Gotthard - all great.

Really strong album from HCSS as well.

But I can't lie that 2007 was dominated for me by Threshold - Dead Reckoning. Easily the best album that year by some distance Followed by Alter Bridge Blackbird and Loverboy Just Gettin Started rounding out a magnificent top 3.

The 4 choices from the graphic would all be top 10 though. Great albums.

Melodic rock was truly back by 2007!

Jeez, these are getting too hard for me to call just by looking at them, so I have to consult my lists. Funnily enough, I had to look all the way outside my top 20 for the year to find the first album from this graphic. Which isn't to say there's not great albums here - must have just been a very strong year. 

I really like Poley, Gotthard, PC69, Sixx AM, Stan Bush and Hardcore Superstar. But my pick must go with Crazy Lixx. A bit patchier than later efforts, but when it's good it's mighty. Favourite song is 'Make ends meet.'

Another tough pick....loved Scorpions, Crazy Lixx, Bach, Gotthard, HS and the Poodles but I have to go with PC69....
