Truth be told, I actually prefer the Hagar CDs over the Roth ones. That 'Unlawful Carnal Anal Pipe' album, imo, is the best thing the band ever released.

I have to agree, whilst I don't hate the band, for some reason I could never get into their albums. Another one I tried to like but just couldn't is James Christian - both albums.

Alibi - Misdemeanours

 

Don't like this one at all, but it seems to be well liked. Very, very soft and weak songs imo.

Put bluntly, those guys do sound awful. I like the two Pulse albums quite a lot, but even the second one started sounding really dodgy. By the time they released this CD their sound was a bit of a nightmare. I have to admit I do like this CD and a lot of the songs are pretty damn good, but it's a chore to listen to the CD and I'm not even really sure why.
