  1. Ive watched this one at least a 1/2 dozen times since its release. Great movie. Me too. One my favourite films ever!
  2. Despise them. Any particular reason? "For the Love of Money" by Obsession is absolutely incredible... ...and "Money" by Stage Dolls is pretty good too.
  3. I noticed he was logged on very briefly here a few weeks ago, but he didn't post anything. He is on FB occasionally I think Cool. Hope he's OK.
  4. Any sign lately? Apologies if covered elsewhere, but I've been missing for a while myself.
  5. Well, they're called Gathering of Kings, Geoffrey, so they're probably not gonna stop until they've gathered them all. I dunno ... you only need three kings to have a (small) gathering. You'd figure anymore than one King and there will be problems. You'd also recon a queen or two and a gaggle of knights would be necessary to round out the table. A jester might keep them amused and stop any hostility...
  6. Sounds pretty good, would like to hear a few more full tracks...

  8. I wouldn't say disappointing, as I had no real expectations, but Gibbo insisted we saw Oranssi Pazuzu at the recent Incineration Festival. I wouldn't say 'Psychedelic Black Metal' was my usual cup of tea, but I'm fairly open-minded, so thought we'd give them a go. Sadly, my vocabulary isn't broad enough to fully explain just how awful they were. Very little music of any kind, it was like some surreal nightmare that, fortunately, only lasted about two-and-a-half songs, as we both need to get the f*** out of there.
  9. Statham is in 'Spy' ... his role is very tongue-in-cheek, and he does a good job of sending up the beat-'em-all-up/take-on-the-world-single-handed characters that he's known for ... at least, I HOPE his role is intended to be tongue-in-cheek I still wouldn't cross the road to see one of HIS films, though My missus would.
  10. Not bad, reasonable storyline. A fix of Statham kept the missus happy and it had a bit more depth than his usual 'just beat everyone up' roles. He does beat everyone up, though.
  11. Milk. Biopic of Harvey Milk, gay rights campaigner in 1970s San Francisco. Brilliant film, bit depressing (as are most studies of human nature).
  12. Much better than I expected too. Really fun film.
  13. Ex Machina Sci fi yarn about artificial intelligence. Great film, thought provoking and Alicia Vikander is disturbingly attractive as the robot.
