Retrospect Records
This should be fun (probably done before but what the hell). My vote went with Triumph. Many many great bands here but Triumph just earn a special place. I should have put Honeymoon Suite instead of Chilliwack but oh well. Doksdad
Give me an H!!! For Helix of course!!! Great band!
whiplash1972
I volleyed Loverboy, Coney Hatch, and Helix back and forth for a bit, and finally went with Loverboy...although it was a damn tough choice.
Lobo
Had to go with Coney Hatch....I cannot wait for the official release of "Outa Hand" Jan 30th cannot come quick enough Also gonna get Billy Squier -Tale of the Tape and John Waite - Ignition
MAGICTOUCH
Man, I REALLY wanted to vote for Santers because they won't be getting votes on this, but I had to go with Helix because they have an outstanding catalog...love Kick Axe and Triumph also
Bubbasmama
Damn......Harem Scarem.......Killer Dwarfs......... have to think on this
66 mustang
I went with Loverboy although Bryan Adams would have been my first choice.
Evil Rick
HELIX! With Killer Dwarfs a close second.
KING
RUSH, closely followed by April Wine and Triumph. Man there are some great bands from the great white. Hey is'nt Emerald Rain from Canada too? There another great band.
Rockposer
My vote went to Von Groove, but I'd like to have seen Sword up there as well.
Torch
Rush of course! They're miles ahead of the rest.
Jez
Too many good ones (Coney Hatch, Loverboy, Santers, Rush, Toronto, Boulevard) But Saga overall for me. Of all my fave bands the highest % come from Canada which says something.
hsf
My S/N says it all (at least in terms of my vote).
Faust
Very hard !I vote Rush and Saga but there's too many (Boulevard...)

2023 Gold Donors headbanger4life Posted January 16, 2006 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 I went with Triumph. What an awesome band. Killer Dwarfs was in second. Hey how come Honeymoon Suite isn't on this poll?
Geoff
Harem Scarem by a couple of million miles. Von Groove's debut and 'Test of faith' are awesome, I love Killer Dwarfs and some of the others have a few cool moments, but for me Harem Scarem are the runaway victors and not even closely touched. FYI, Cauterize are my favourite Canadian band (who'd have guessed?)... but Harem Scarem from the above list.
zacharyamelie
The options are just the tip of the iceberg. Canada gives the World great Hockey players, the best comedians and some killer music. I voted for Harem Scarem, but any choice is a good one. Here I go again. I'm only this patriotic on the message board, although I did have some maple syrup for breakfast with a cup of Tim Hortons coffee.
Geoff
Canada gives the best comedians<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry to prove you wrong mate, but I'm Australian. BTW, got the usd$10 today - sorry for the delay but it'll be there soon.
LV KIX
TRIUMPH I just thought everything they released was top notch. Some of the other bands listed had great albums... but I went with TRIUMPH because of their constistancy.
TIM (2)
Some great bands, but HAREM SCAREM for me - for sheer consistency.
davesworld
It was between Helix and Rush. I had to go with Rush. A St Louis favorite here for sure. Great band!!!!!
knix
With this line up I vote for Loverboy. But I miss Honeymoon Suite, Racing after midnight is a killer. Some Aldo Nova maybe? And Danny tate, but I'm not shure if he has released more the the S/T. //Nick
metalmaniac777
Harem Scarem by a country mile, an urban mile, a suburban mile, or any other kind of mile you care to throw in there. There are some other good choices on the list as well (Helix, Von Groove) but nothing that compares to Harry Hess & company. Of course, as always, just my two cents'...aw, the hell with it, you guys know the drill!
aXe mAn
Harem Scarem!....Followed closely by Helix!
