He did exactly the same thing in 2016 when he was trailing in the polls, continually claiming that if Clinton won the only way that would happen was if wide spread fraud happened - again with no evidence.

Socialist losers and anti-Semites are 2 of the tags they use and lets not even mention the nastiness they spew toward African-American voters for voting Democrat....most of the vitriol coming from the Left is directed at Trump for a host of good reasons which Trump is solely responsible for since he has done everything possible to cause the political divide that we see in America today...

Dan at the end of the day I've no beef with left or right.... whatever that means?? In the UK I'm conservative which is deemed to be right but I don't like the far right which is where our politics is veering.

But as I've said many times my beef is with Trump.

What he is doing is deplorable. There is no way in a million years he can reverse this now - he knows it, we all know it. This is purely being strung along to :

a. give him an excuse to claim he never lost. ridiculous, he lost...move on

Huh? Nobody calls African Americans who vote Democrat names; it's expected. The difference on the surface is subtle, but at it's core profound. The Left uses the latter brush FAR more than the Right does... and frequently they don't even realize it.

I work on the campus of a Big Ten university, blue through and through. If you are conservative or libertarian you keep your mouth shut and your opinions to yourself unless you want to be disciplined or fired if the wrong people find out about your politics.

I remember the day after Trump won in 2016, all the ranting and raving online, the protests, the university bringing in grief counselors (yes, that was a real thing, not just urban legend). A person far above me in the organization posting on Facebook how "all the racists and sexists won." So that's what you think about half the people in this country, eh? Similar comments made by a conservative calling liberals sexists and rapists would have been grounds for discipline, but it's ok when you call Republicans and/or Trump supporters names. That's not a problem at all.

I get that it's not the same everywhere and that people's perceptions are colored by what they see and experience firsthand. I'm sure that if I lived in a deep red state that the exact opposite of what I see takes place. But don't think for a minute that there aren't areas of the country where the "tolerant progressive Left" is the most authoritative fascist bunch of jackboots you can imagine. Heck, the BLM/Antifa riots throughout the year showed that to the entire world, but people just choose not to see or believe it.

But it is what it is. Trump lost and should exit gracefully, but that goes against his very nature so I don't see that happening. I just hope our country can survive the destruction of personal liberties and freedoms that are about to occur over the next 4 years...

As I've stated before, both the far left and the far right are idiots but I expect things will improve over the next 4 years as they can't get much worse considering how much of a mess Trump has left...anyone who thinks the last 4 years were wonderful is living in a fantasy world, Biden may not be the best man for the job but he can't do worse than Trump so I would not be concerned about the country falling apart...at least not until 2024...
