Man, I steel wear pants like this!

I still cannot get it how Anvil managed to screw it after the free publicity/exposure  they got from their documentary.

I think the Anvil doco was a little depressing. Sure, the ending was uplifting, but all in all it made them look a bit sad.

This looks good, hopefully not as cheap looking as the Def Leppard film they made for VH1 years ago, which I enjoyed but it could've been so much better, just like Leppard the Crue have so much history both bad & good to make a great movie from, will defs check it out come March  :)

I actually loved the Def Leppard one. I noticed there's an Elton John one out as well. The success of the Queen biopic has made this genre flavor of the  month  at the moment. I wonder how long before we see a Zeppelin, Sabbath or Bon Jovi etc. one..

Very cool. I don't really care about the quality of the film, to be honest. Just want to see what are awesome stories, regardless of film quality. :)

Where can you watch the Def Leppard movie?

I saw the full length Def Leppard movie up on youtube a short time back, might still be there, and if you are open to buying a dvd it is pretty cheap to purchase, but I've not seen it myself recently on other streaming services

Dunno about a Zeppelin one ever being made, as no one within Led Zeppelin seems interested in discussing Led Zeppelin.

Didn't really expect that...I know theyre just having some fun and recording albeit tongue in cheek but I didn't have a cover of this in mind...don't mind it though, wouldnt go singing its praises but honestly don't mind it either, some nice heavy guitar from Mick.

Absolutely loved this film. They obviously had to change some things to condense it down and because they could probably not use certain peoples likeness, but overall its pretty damn good and the casting is pretty much perfect.

The only issue is there is so much to fit in that it feels a bit rushed, especially at the end.

Could really have done with being a series or multi part film.

Loved the Dirt film. Nicely paced and filmed. Solid acting and man what a hard flashback to why I dug the Crue, grew my hair out and did all the things I did. Like the Crue one wonders how I walked away from any of it.

Again watch it is great!

Lots of poor reviews were good for me to read before I watched it as I loved the book and kind of expected the movie to be epic.

The poor reviews allowed me to go in with a blank canvas.

As such, I thought it was good.
Agree some seemed rushed. Normally you'd expect a downward spiral for Vonce when he left the band and Skylar got ill, but that was all pretty fast. Also skipped his solo albums.

In fact it was hard to tell how many years had passed at times.
Smacked of a Netflix movie rather than a big budget movie like the Queen one.

My 19 yo daughter loved it.

My wife thought it was ok.

Apparently fans love it, but the critics don't...

I thought it was okay for what it was.

Did think the acting was pretty terrible.  Also thought it was very rushed and they skipped a lot.  I think this could've been better as a 5 part mini series.  I mean, if they can do a 5 part series on Ted Bundy, they could easily do a five part series on the Crue's story.  They could've added more time period 80's stuff, spliced in more "real" live footage, maybe some "real" interviews from the period with the Crue or other people talking about the Crue, etc.....IDK.

Definitely felt very low budget....They could've easily done a much better job with this IMO especially for how long it seemed to take coming together.

Definitely a horrible movie in terms of any critical appeal but still okay as low budget entertainment to kill a couple hours.

The film was okay for me, could have been better that's for sure....the critics freaked out over the sex etc but that is to be expected and I'm sure that is what the Crue was hoping for anyway, after all this film wasn't for the idiot 'official' critics, it was for the fans....
