What's a spinnin' in your CD player?

Recommended Posts

Very light Canadian AOR/Westcoast, somewhat in the style of Keven Jordan, Kurt Howell and Paul Janz. Just not as good. For completists/hoarders or those that just want some cheesy listening. ; )

And was are your opinions about those albums, Sir?

1. Seven coming back and releasing a full length was awesome. Granted, I didn't discover the band until well after they'd broken up initially, but aside from the production, going from their early singles and demos to the self-titled album, the band sounds so cohesive, like they never missed a beat, despite there being 20 or so years between those releases. I was cautiously optimistic when it first came out, but it gets regular play for me now.

2. The second Seven album has a completely different feel to it because the original band members didn't come back for it, aside from Mick Devine. While it's still a decent record, it doesn't really capture you the way the early Seven singles or the first album did, which was disappointing.

3. Signal's "Loud and Clear" is a classic. It'd be sacrilege to say anything less.
