One of THE most overhyped run ups to an album release I have ever seen (especially for a new band and debut album). Saying that, it's damned good all the way through and does exactly what it's meant to do. Very nice indeed

I must admit that I didn't have this album down as a grower.

firmly believed in the run up it would be a blow me away amazing release.

But a grower it is. Loving perfect 10 now and also big shout out to We are Not OK. That chorus is ace.

Thank goodness I never board hype trains. This is a good album, but as a couple of others have said, nothing special and it's pretty hectic to see what people built this to be. It actually reminds me a bit of when Brother Firetribe hit the scene. Good solid disc, but I don't think it's going to be one of the standouts for me this year. I do like it... but yeah, plenty of albums already eclipsing this in 2021.

'Tomorrow' is a fantastic ballad (even Sam Fox sounds great on her vocal part) and my favourite on here by far. I don't think this is going to make album of the year by a way, but it is very consistent throughout and very enjoyable for what it is.

respectfully disagree with the last 2 posters.

I think this is a great album which gets better with every spin and actually eclipses efforts put out by more established bands this year. 

I also think there are many songs on the album better than Tomorrow.

I gave this and the new Eclipse album a spin today.  While I am a big fan of Eclipse, I enjoyed this album a bit more.  The only song that didn't really click for me was the title track.  Not a bad song by any means, just didn't stand out like the others.  I'm sure it will end up in my top 10 for 2021.

I can't see how anyone could view Nestor as a joke band and Beast in Black as the real deal...

No I wasn't implying they are a joke band at all. I said the album is very good for what it is, or in other words, for the type of album it is, or genre it represents (AOR Melodic Rock, call it what you want).

Yeah, I know.
But from memory the song I listened to was synthy and on the poppy side.
Kinda light and fluffy.
I'll probably come back to them one day and give a fair go.
