Came today, more classic non rock ish .....

Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way

Colplay - X&Y

Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head

Maroon 5 - Songs About Jane

Maroon 5 - It Won`t Be Soon Before Long

Beautiful South - Choke

im sorry, did you use the word "CLASSIC" ??

:hammer:

Exactly what I was going to say. F*ck me with a wind-pipe. As much as I love so many current releases, I doubt I'd call many/any classics. But those ones??? Jeezus wept mate! I can understand a departure if you had all the proper classics and got bored with them and needed something new, but you've said in so many posts all you're missing or have never heard of so many amazing melodic rock bands. Seriously mate, just trying to help you (and your ears) out... find some samples of Steelhouse Lane, Treat, Danger Danger, Frontline, Teer, Bonfire, Zero, Casanova, Blue Tears etc. and live up to your Real Rock Fan name, mate. ;)

Thanks for the advice Geoff

It's been quietly remastered and reissued. I saw it over on the NEH website along with another surprise reissue - Roxanne - S/T

I find this "fluffy" gem to be"fluffy and intoxicating" But when you live on the "fluffy" side mostly, you have to give something a "cheeky punt".

It's ok at the moment............:whistle:

2 great Foreigner discs - '4' is a classic AOR disc and one of my alltime fave albums.

'Detonated' is that pretty crappy live album from the Tygers. You couldn't have chosen a worse disc, except maybe 'Songs From The Cathouse' for a first impression. Try 'Wildcat' or 'Spellbound', their first 2 studio discs, which are a million times better and the recent 'Animal Instinct' is pretty good as well.
