You're too quick by half... That's exactly it, I just go with "This? I bought that a couple years ago." In fact I'm doing it much worse than usual. My wife stole my 300 disc CD player for the spa and I finally got around to setting up my stereo and I was like hey, I don't have a CD player! So I just bought one (under $100) and I'll hope for the best... I don't think she'll be hanging out in the basement much anyway.
