Geoff
okay so stuck at home resting my broken hand and this happened: 'Summer of Sam' - awesome film. Great story, very entertaining. 'House of 9' - good solid film. Enjoyable... and some sexy ladies in that one too. 'High Tension' - well shot and good French horror flick, BUT, it does not make sense. Annoying because the "twist" doesn't work and there are 100 holes in the story. 'The prophecy' - average horror flick. 'Training Day' - pretty cool film. I liked it... not loved it though. 66 mustang
SNAKES ON A PLANE -- i went into this with 0 expectations of it being any good at all and came out of it thinking it was a 7 / 10. not a bad movie

Geoff
'Ghost Dog - The way of the samuri' ; this one is in my top 10 list of worst films of all time. Horrible. I hate Forrest Whitaker too. What a dead shit. Man I hate ethis movie. 'Ted Bundy' - my brother tells me it's pretty loosely based on facts, but still a good, intriguing movie. I liked it a lot. 'Lost Highway' - what a trip, but a very cool one. Odd, impossible to follow/understand, but very good. I hate Patricia Arquette but damn does she look good naked. Good film. 'The dark hours' - I think this was the first Canadian film I've ever seen, and what a great one. Also a trip, hard to follow, but very cool. Another big thumbs up. 'The Hurricane' - damn Denzel Washington is great. I didn't know the 'Hurricane' story and I was really moved and into this. A truly tragic story but a great film. 'Gacy' - wowser. My brother has a few serial killer flicks and I went through them. This was another good one. Messed up and vague, but good stuff. 'Dahmer' - the worst of the serial lot. Doesn't really focus a lot on his life, but more a few moments in time. A decent fil but I hoped for a lot more.

Dark Star
Happily N'ever After Pretty good animated flick, though I wish the George Carlin character had more lines, but other than that I liked it......
Geoff
'We were soldiers' - I still don't know why I put myself through war movies. I always get so deeply affected, knowing it's all based on truth. Horrible, but a great film.

Hey Geoff, dont know if youve seen it, but since you seem so into serial killer movies perhaps youve missed the most honest and true one ever made, Henry: Portrait of A Serial Killer, if youve seen it please disregard, if you havent you are missing out, this movie puts those other ones to shame, it is the college and the other ones are pre school, but be very careful, if I had a problem with this one, then id imagine most people will not be able to handle it, WARNING!!!!!!!!! don't go near this movie unless your prepared for what it contains! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099763/

I will show this to my brother and that'll pretty much guarantee he'll own it in 2 weeks. He loves them. I have to admit, I am really interested in them too. The three above are all quite vague and miss out a lot of the details I'm interested in (everything in the lead up to what made them serial killers) but they're good anyway. I'll let you know when I see this and what I think.

Leykis101
Hey Geoff, I mean it man, ive seen those 3 you listed, and while they are good movies, they dont get into the actual violence to much, not like they do in Henry, and it can really fuck with you if you arent ready for it, man! it fucks with you when you are ready for it, just be prepared and when the scene comes when they are sitting in their underware on the couch drinking beer and eating cereal, dont be fooled by the laughing and carrying on, that's about the time to prepare your stomach, and emotions, and thats all i'll say, just be cautious, it's a totally different movie, I just don't want you back on here all fucked up and pissed off at me for recommending it, after you watch it.
