San Andreas ; of course all of these disaster type flicks are ridiculous, but this was ridiculous beyond ridiculous, multiplied by a ridiculous amount of times. But, this was in it, guiding it through every painful second of the "storyline;"

Ha, yeah I watched this the other day....to be fair I enjoyed it even tho is was ridiculous....and you are right, Alexandra Daddario is one hot cookie.

Actually I've just noticed that she is in the new Baywatch film due next year.

That is one excellent reason to watch it ;)

Yep, sounds like the best movie of 2017 has been sorted already. ;)

if i'm not mistaken, she also appeared in the first season of True Detective topless in one episode, forgot which one but a good reason to catch that show dude :D

Certainly a great reason.

I enjoy watching those Percy Jackson films with the kids as she is all over them. Top on unfortunately but still watchable.

Yeah, I don't know what 'True Detective' is, but I want to know. Asaper than later.

Based on that tank top photo one should be assured that sans tank top epicness is certain.

The topless/nude clips are actually on pornhub (2 x 2min clips)... uh, so a friend told me. Extremely arousing...

"A Time To Die" (1991)

Traci Lords is an L.A. crime scene photographer who snaps a pic of a crooked cop doing something cops shouldn't be doing. For obvious reasons, this makes her and her young son the targets of some very bad people.
Traci can't act (as usual) but she looks great (as usual) and the late Jeff "Kenickie" Conaway was rockin' an absolutely epic mullet at this point in his career, but otherwise this is pretty tedious direct to video crime drama nonsense.

"Not Of This Earth" (1988)

Campy-on-purpose remake of a '50s sci-fi cheapie about a nurse who's hired to give a mysterious man daily blood transfusions. Eventually she learns that he's actually an alien being who's an advance scout for an invasion. (yikes!!) This flick is mainly notable for the fact that it was Traci Lords' first non-XXX acting role (and also the last time she got naked in front of a camera). She looks dynamite, of course, but the rest of the movie was poop.

"The Phantom" (1996)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3lZ_dQsnUk
A lavish adaptation of the '30s comic strip starring Billy Zane as the purple-clad "Ghost Who Walks" - who's sort of a combination of Tarzan and Batman. Sworn to protect his jungle home from pirates, treasure hunters, and criminals, the Phantom is drawn to '30s New York when a madman steals an ancient artifact with enough power to help him take over the world. A fun, action packed period-piece in the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" vein.

What We Do In The Shadows

Absolutely hilarious. My second viewing and it did not lose anything.

And for the 400th time with my son: The Rocker.

VERY funny indeed and anyone who doesn't think the Vesuvius songs are killer should be punched in the neck. :) Hell the A.D.D. songs sung by Teddy Geiger are cool too!

  • My Little Pony

I remember watching The Rocker having absolutely no expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. So funny, and the music was great.

Also, being a drummer, I could identify with Rainn Wilson's character.

"Invasion U.S.A." (1985)

A clan of Russian-backed terrorists and mercenaries (led by B-Movie mainstay Richard Lynch) plot to overthrow the U.S. of A. - thankfully America has got Chuck Norris in its corner and he's at the height of his Beard Powered, blue-jeaned bad-assery, so the odds are just about even!
The Mighty Chuck's magnum opus is completely, utterly, totally ridiculous, cheesy, over the top and silly as hell but I can't deny that it's also entertaining as hell. Tons of Reagan-era shoot'em-up, blow'em-up, kill-a-commie-for-Mommy fun!

Seen this French flick ''LOLO'' the other day. Kinda reminded me of Cyrus with Jonah Hill and John C. Reilly a bit. Basically a middle aged woman meets a guy and her 20 year old son is not happy with it so he tries to sabotage the relationship. Good movie and great performance from the always funny Dany Boon

"The Peanuts Movie" (2015)

Charlie Brown still can't fly a kite or work up the courage to talk to the Little Red Haired Girl, and Snoopy continues his ongoing battle with the Red Baron.
Charles Schulz's beloved comic strip characters got a successful 21st century makeover in this fun family flick from Blue Sky animation studios (the gang behind the "Ice Age" series). Lots of laughs for the kids, and a trip down memory lane for their parents. Recommended if you have young'uns.

"Batman: Bad Blood" (2016)

Batman is missing in action after a battle with the League of Shadows, so Nightwing temporarily dons the Bat-Mask to keep the peace in Gotham City, aided by Robin, Batwoman and a new member of the Bat-Family known as "Batwing." More quality action packed animated mayhem from DC Comics.

"Avenging Force" (1986)

A low budget pseudo-sequel to "Invasion U.S.A." with Michael "American Ninja" Dudikoff taking over Chuck Norris' role as CIA butt kicker Matt Hunter. This time Hunter tangles with a group of extreme right-wing racist millionaires who hold their own "Most Dangerous Game" style hunting parties in the Louisiana bayous. The presence of Dudikoff's frequent "American Ninja" co-star Steve James makes this feel more like an "A.N." sequel than a follow up to Chuck's flick. It's not terrible, it's not great, it's just sort of ... "there."

D-Train

Jack Black stars in this comedy about an average Joe who becomes a fame fucker to gain popularity at his high school reunion. Not bad at all. I am sure for many this one didn't blip as the topic is not for middle America and their sweetheart JB. Worth a watch for the sex scene alone.

to be precise, it's from 1968 lol but the visual effects is beyond its age I agree. It has that 'Interstellar' thing but I think 'Interstellar' is far superior. Somehow I think this movie was made only to win Oscar visual effects award :D

anyway, yesterday I checked out an even older movie, 12 ANGRY MEN (1957) and I love it. Just found out there's a TV-movie remake in 1997 but can't find it on the net, lookin' forward to it and if you love great dialogue/debate with a single location, it's about 12 jurors fighting to reach a unanimous verdict, I recommend this classic
