Listening to this track for the umpteenth time made me realise what a great track this would be put to a sporting montage, hence the video of course.

It would match well with all teams from all codes, but in particular a sporting team known as the Lions as a result of the Killer line " You better bet your life when you run with the Lion".

We have an AFL (the real Football) team down here called the "Brisbane Lions".

Their promotions team should be all over this.

As Paul has done Wicked Smile album, Steve is a passionate Lions fan.

It's fantastic!  :drink:

My initial favorites would be 19 Summertime, Go Big Or Go Home, Against The Grain, So Good and Love Don't Live Here Anymore.  But there's no bad songs here and I just dig the attention to detail these guys have in their songs.

For me, this definitely reminds me much more of their debut than their second album style, theme & quality wise.  Listening to this reminds me of songs like Take Me Back, Last Kiss, Underneath The Stars, etc.

Very easily slots into my #1 spot so far this year.  We'll see if Midnite City can challenge it in a couple weeks.

But how does it compare to H.e.a.t?

I know people are excited about Nuno shredding it on the new Extreme…is it just me or is Rob bringing the shred to whole new level on this release compared the first two albums?

Agree.  Killer guitar work on this and basically every song has hooks of some kind.  Even Miracle, which is probably my least favorite song here, still has plenty of melodies and hooks in a Def Leppard kind of way which still keeps it somewhat interesting.

For me this definitely betters their last album.

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. Aldo Nova Badlands Baby Tango Baton Rouge Black N Blue Britney Fox BulletBoys DAD Giant Hanoi Rocks Hardline Jetboy King Kobra Kingdom Come Lillian Axe Lizzy Borden Loudness Love Hate Quireboys Saigon Kick Santa Cruz Shotgun Messiah SleezeBeez SouthGang Tiger Tailz TNT Vain White Tiger

    • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
