New single "One By One" is due out September 27th.

"H.E.A.T announces release of a brand new album, titled “H.E.A.T II”, early next year.
“H.E.A.T II” is the first album ever to be produced entirely by the band with Jona Tee and Dave Dalone as producers. ”This is how we would sound if we made a debut album 2019, hence the title.
First out is the brand new single ”One by One” with an animated video to go with it, release September 27th, followed by the anthem ”Rise” (release later this fall).

”One by One is about enlightening people and showing an alternative path to life. A road less travelled, if you will.” ~ H.E.A.T

The album "H.E.A.T II" is out January 22!

I honestly think if they re- recorded the first 2 albums with the updated more crunchy sound on HEAT II , I think they would be outstanding albums. The production is thin no doubt

Other than the part about seeing them live, you took the words out of my mouth.  Personally, I don't think Kenny's albums hold a candle to any of the ones with Erik.  This is terrible, terrible news.

That's because Steve was one half of the writing duo. Kenny and Erik are just singers. Whether Kenny sings, or Erik sings, it doesn't change the quality of the songwriting. And you guys are all

Will be interesting to hear how they do without Tobias Lindell.....He's been their Mutt Lange :)

Interesting throwback concept for the album.  There's been comments that they are going back to to their roots a bit and just making a kick ass melodic rock album.  It's almost the opposite approach from what the last album suggested as moving forward "Into The Unknown".

Can't wait to check this out.  Andrew's comment on the new single "One By One" which I left out of the first post sure has me excited....

"I'm excited to say, the upcoming H.E.A.T single "One By One" is 3 minutes and 47 seconds of unadulterated, pure melodic hard rock bliss, very reminiscent of the debut, but updated."

Very, very exciting. No doubt about it, all the best albums this year are going to come from the last few months.

We all know how I feel about the Mk I H.e.a.t. If they can recapture that sound, and keep a high quality production, I'll be ecstatic. Until I hear it, however, I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

Yep I'm super excited for this, as the last two albums haven't come close to the quality of the first three for me.

Tearing Down the Walls not even close to the quality of the first 3?.... Dafuq?

Nah, not at all. Shot at Redemption is utterly generic (HATE this live, ZZZZzzz), Mannequin Show has that horrible keyboard on it (my friend when seeing them live made the obvious "Britney Spears?" comment), All the Nights just doesn't really hit that emotional mark for me.. Tearing down the walls track sounds like something that's been done a million times by a million other bands. Laughing at Tomorrow doesn't work for me either and I was REALLY looking forward to that from the studio videos. Such a weak album closer from them.

They went for a harder sound on the album and just ended up sounding too generic.

Point of no return, Emergency and We will never die are class though. I really like pretty much every song from the first 3 albums so they're better in my opinion.

laughing at tomorrow and Shot are pretty weak imo. All the nights - any piano ballad is wrong imo.

The rest of TDTW is HEAT magic imo.

And I luuuv the last album. So varied and interesting.

looking forward to some melodic hard rock this time tho.

Just to stir the H.E.A.T pot...my Spotify mix has 6 tracks from the debut, 7 from Freedom Rock, 6 from TDTW, 5 from ITGU and only 3 from Address The Nation...plus Drink Alone.

Not sure why but I guess Address The Nation is my least favourite release....but don’t get me wrong I love them all.

Okay.....Little tease time....

Heard the new H.e.a.t track One By One and can confirm it's freaking amazing balls :headbanger::banana:

Will add that to my ears it's really unlike anything on the last album.  To me it's sorta like Emergency combined with something like maybe Better Off Alone....But better than those tunes :)

Like Andrew said above, just basically kick ass melodic hard rock bliss ;)

    • These guys are exceptionally good. Love it.
    • For Karpet-Muncher, new song 'Do It All Again'.
    • Listened to this EP today and this is my gear. Absolutely love this one - every song is amazing. Immediately googled to see if they have a new album coming out this year, but can't see anything scheduled. I did notice they have a new single, which is as brilliant as the stuff on the EP; Great find, mate. These guys are next level, and I will be keeping tabs on anything new they might release.

    • Yeah, I like We Were Sharks. Their last album as absolute killer. New one is very good, very consistent. Not as good as the last one - but good stuff.  I enjoyed the first Holding Absence album and saw a lot of potential on it, but admittedly it was just one tune I've shared a few times that really blew me away. The new album is significantly better in every single way, though. My favourite off the debut; Yep, the dudes are all about atmosphere. Massive part of what draws me to them.
    • From Frontiers: Current The Dark Element (and ex-Nightwish) vocalist Anette Olzon is set to release her new solo album, "Strong" via Frontiers Music Srl on September 10, 2021. “'Parasite' is a song about those who create disaster in this world with their lies, their schemes, their greed and hate. Hiding their intentions behind a respectable facade,” says Anette Olzon of the albums' first single. “Living in a world of a bit of chaos with a pandemic, crazy politics, violence, social media behavior and people venting their opinions upon others all the time is the foundation behind the idea of the lyrics for the album. Musically, I wanted a much heavier album, yet with strong melodies and took my inspiration from bands I like such as Dimmu Borgir and In Flames,” she continues. This will be Anette's second solo album, following 2014's "Shine," and offers a harder, faster musical offering compared to the debut. More importantly, "Strong" stakes a claim for Anette’s well-deserved standing as one of the world's top female metal vocalists.  The music for "Strong" was written and composed together with acclaimed Swedish guitarist and producer Magnus Karlsson. Together, Anette and Magnus managed to create an outstanding collection of songs which showcase Anette’s enormous vocal range alongside Karlsson’s incendiary riffs. The songs are heavy, but still quite melodic and contemporary in their approach to the genre style. Additionally, "Strong" is mixed by Jacob Hansen (Pretty Maids, Volbeat, The Dark Element, etc.).  All in all, “Strong” is an album that masters the borders between heaviness and hookiness, all while showing an artist who doesn't rest on her laurels, but heads boldly into the future.    Tracklist: 1.  Bye Bye Bye 2.  Sick Of You 3.  I Need To Stay 4.  Strong 5.  Parasite 6.  Sad Lullaby 7.  Fantastic Fanatic 8.  Who Can Save Them 9.  Catcher Of My Dreams 10.  Hear Them Roar 11.  Roll The Dice    LINE-UP: Anette Olzon - Vocals Magnus Karlsson - Guitars Anders Köllerfors - Drums Johan Husgafvel – Bass    facebook
    • Oh man, I thought this was the good Dallas dude and I got excited. That is a nice song, but I can't say I'm a fan of those vocals whatsoever. Cool tune, though.
    • Jesse James Dupree - Foot Fetish Eurythmics - We Too Are One + 5 (Special Edition)
    • Line-up: John Dallas - Vocals and Rythm Guitars Tom Angeles - Lead Guitar Black Sam Francisco - Bass Andy Philadelphia - Drums and Keyboards   There fixed it.
    • Don't have many physical purchases anymore but this will be one I'll have to have
