Ratt by miles for me. To break it down a little:

Aside from 'Collage' I love every single Ratt CD and Kix never got close to releasing anything as classic as 'Out of the cellar' or 'Detonator.' If Ratt had just released those 2 CDs alone that enough would be enough to easily seal the deal for me. Not to mention they have a handful of other excellent discs to back it up.

Kix have a smaller discography, with more weak albums ('Show Business', for example).

I thought there had been a poll sometime, but I just couldn't find it. I even asked about it in either the Kix-Poison poll or the Ratt-Poison poll, but no one responded.

Well, let's see how it goes this time around. Ratt was up 18-13 in the other poll. In that poll, I gave the slight nod to Kix, just like I did this time around.

Although I like them, I have never been a major Ratt type person, whereas Kix are much more up my street, so they get my vote.

If I had to choose, one would be my wife and one would be my mistress...but I'm not saying which would be which. :beerbang:

Did you vote "love them both"?

Yup

Well... I think I'll switch my vote this time around.. I'm going with Ratt on the strength of the latest release that nobody spins anymore after just a few months. Ahh.. I didn't really vote for Ratt.

Anyway... KIX is, and always has been, superior when it comes to the live shows. In my book there is nothing better than a great live band. Anything can be done in a recording studio... true talent shines in a live setting.

So...

Who'd you vote for?

Ratt. Love Kix, but Ratt has way more songs that I love.

I like Ratt's albums better as a whole, Kix's early albums didnt seem to have very good production. Ratt can be pretty shaky live, saw them back in 1987 and they really weren't that good. I saw them again on the M3 concert they had on uverse and the band seemed to be kinda rough. Kix is well known for kicking it live and they were great at M3.
