I was in the dollar store the other day and picked up a "double feature" of two 70s action movies, "Black Cobra" and "Black Cobra II" starring Fred Williamson. I'm sure they'll be terrible but I couldn't resist. As an extra Geek incentive, Fred's co-star in "Black Cobra II" is Nicholas Hammond, who played Peter Parker/Spidey in the short lived late 70s "Spider-Man" TV show.

I had a bit of prior info before the DVD, as when I saw them live they did the same. I was just getting into it and they went into something else. A little bit annoying, but the show was ace anyway.

Yeah, it's one of those movies that has kept eluding me, even if I've wanted to see it since it's release. Ancient History was my favourite subject in school and I love this kind of stuff.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
    • Stumbled upon these guys on the Instagrams. Pretty good mix of Modern Rock and Metal with blazing guitars and heavy double-bass drums, and Pop Punk-style vocals.
    • Well... I just jizzed in my pants.  I'm so glad these guys aren't a one-and-done act. Looking forward to much more music, hopefully.
    • Great album upon first few spins..I mean how good/catchy is the track "Lets Go Rent A Video" especially for those of us who actually remember doing that lol
