Here's two from "Soren Andersen - Guilty Pleasures". An album released last year that I missed. It's an instrumental album, which is fine, but it's such a shame these tracks aren't accompanied by vocals. Having said that, every now and then I'm in the mood for some instrumental stuff and this is top notch. The second track does borrow heavily from "Stormbringer" though.

Listening to the "Damn Yankees" albums today. This is definitely a band that is yearning for a third album. Improbable, but not impossible. The fact that this was on the same album as "High Enough" is is why I love this music so much.

haven't heard Garbage in a while, didn't know they had an album in 2016. I felt like some darker rock, a nice tune for that style. Went back and also listened to some of their older stuff that was on the radio back them, like Only Happy When it Rains, Queer, Stupid Girl

I think I may have posted this one before, but it popped up in my car rotation today and it's some nice sleazy sleazyness. The whole album is pretty solid actually.

It's ANZAC day here in OZ, which is sort of like Memorial Day/Veterans Day in the US, I guess. It's a very big deal. This song isn't usually a mainstay on ANZAC day, but I heard it four times in the car today. Very appropriate. I remember the clip from the early MTV days and the song is an absolute masterpiece of a ballad.

Alf's topic on "Hurricane" made me go on a Kelly Hansen binge. Songs of the day again. What an absolute monster vocalist of "our music" Kelly Hansen is. So many side projects. There aren't too many people that can do justice to and possibly better a Marcie Free song back in her prime. His tenure with Foriegner has been great for him career wise, but I can't help thinking that we've missed out on some great original content.

Another one of my favourite vocalists is Robert Mason. This is one of my favourite tracks from a very solid album from '97.
