Not as ‘immediate’ as their usual songs but I like it.. Great synth cross over. 

Hyped for the album, it’s way overdue.

Wow, love the song. Not sure why a fan of this band wouldn't be totally into that? Tacky lyrics, sure, but it's Reckless Love. Awesome, catchy song with a killer chorus.

They have gone wimp rock. But, if the next song has real drums and actually rocks I will forgive them this misstep. If not I will invest in a different band.

Were they ever not pretty wimpy, if that sort of stuff is important to you? It's not like they ever verged on metal or anything like that. Probably at least a dozen songs as wimpy or wimpier than this on their albums.

Maybe it's an age thing, I was 20 years old in 1985 and I was having the fuckin' time of my life. I loved the 80s best decade ever and retrowave/synthwave takes me right back to those times.

Exactly. Some of their lyrics make me cringe more than some of the Christian bands I listen to.
