I just went through the first 3 pages of member's (sorted by post count) and noticed a lot of the posters with the highest post count haven't been on the board in a long time. Anybody know what happened to any of these prolific posters from the past?

I posted missing members anywhere from a few months to a few years.

I'm slightly under the influence right now. I remember being bummed when I discovered this Tasha girl stopped posting before my arrival. She sounded like an awesome person and around my age.

A few of those people are still on here, only under different names bro, and I see about 90% of that list you posted, on Facebook daily, all but 4 of them are facebook friends, no clue who that Tasha bitch is, I think I only heard of her when I was axing about her, think she got caught blowing HSF, while she was married to & Then, the one and only one name on that list I have absolutely ZERO! knowledge of, in fact I don't even remember the name ever even coming up in the many "what happened to" threads I've started, and that Is Magictouch!! anybody give me some information on Mr.Touch? i'd sure be thankful, outside of that, pretty much all those members are people who I cant even believe it's been that long since Ive seen them post, it just seems wrong, like they have been on here since the date it gives, but what do I know, NOT A FUCKING THING, PIECE Y'ALL!!!

Kristian...I also used to speak to, and trade with, Tim. He lived in Oklahoma and was passionate about the music too. He did have health issues that he was dealing with at times....diabetes maybe?? I'm not too sure what happened to him.....in fact, I wouldn't mind knowing how he's doing as well!!

Tim (2).......now there's a loss to the boards.

Still friends on Facebook, but I think most of his time is taken up with his kid now.

Yeah I remember Tim (2) used to have a controversial view about certain albums, hopefully dude will come back again once in a while

controversial, but by and large correct.

Yeah, I liked Tim (2). Like everyone else here (aside from me, of course), he got it wrong every now and then, but he was actually right more often than not. Good thoughts and not afraid to tell it how it is.

  • My Little Pony

It's so weird being the youngest one here, and yet one of the older current members. I miss the diversity. Too many like-minded folk on here. ;}

Yes, you're absolutely right. And I disagree.

The band's new album, Super Fine Sugar, represents a huge leap forward for the hard-hitting quartet. Streetlight Circus showcases the urgent songwriting and soaring vocals of David Shaw, the fiery and passionate guitar work of George Giannoulis, the thunderous drumming of Erik Fehrenbach, and the smooth rhythm guitar work of Alex Rude. What’s more, Streetlight Circus has captured the attention of industry stalwarts who have eagerly participated in the creation of the new album. The songs were mixed and mastered by Grammy-winning producer and engineer Bob St. John. Guest appearances are made by Berton Averre (The Knack), Tony Harnell (TNT), Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow (The Posies), Brian Forsythe (Kix), and Jesper and Jacob Binzer (D-A-D). Streetlight Circus has been invited to rock thousands at festivals such as Rock Fest (Wisconsin), Rocklahoma (Oklahoma), Rock N’ Derby (New York), Wolf Fest (Colorado), and the M3 Rock Festival (Maryland) among many others. The band has managed to comfortably fit on bills featuring bands as heavy as Avatar, Anthrax, and Megadeth and as accessible as The Doobie Brothers, Buckcherry, and Night Ranger. In 2018, Streetlight Circus embarked on a successful headlining tour of the United Kingdom taking them from Wales to Scotland and many British points in between. Supercharged and ready to roll with Super Fine Sugar, Streetlight Circus is prepared to rock stages around the globe. Don’t miss your chance to rock under the band’s big top. • Such was commonplace around here years ago.
    • That's an oxymoron-even KarpetRyd knows that !
    • Checked this out....not too bad but not sure how memorable it'll be. There's a few tunes I thought sounded pretty good after my first listen and do think Ronnie sounds excellent on the album  Songs like Scream and Shot in the Dark both stood out to me a bit.  I thought Last Man Alive sounded decent too. Much of the rest kind of feels like it falls in line with the first 2 singles that were released.  It's kind of heavy which is cool but just not coming off as being that catchy or memorable initially which was sort of my same problem with the last album.   We'll see what happens with more listens.  Here's a link to the whole album:
    • WTF is this, two dudes having an intelligent conversation about a band without relying on easy absolutes. I'm impressed.
