Got me a whole buncha goodies from a co-worker who was cleaning out his CD shelf and was kind enough to let me pick thru'em before he dumped' the rest on Craigslist:

 

Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force - S/T

Alice in Chains - FACELIFT (replacement for my scratched to hell copy)

Motley Crue - S/T (aka Corabi Crue)

Ratt - INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY, S/T (1999)

Testament - THE LEGACY, SOULS OF BLACK

Ace Frehley - FREHLEY'S COMET

Jetboy - DAMNED NATION

Dangerous Toys - HELLACIOUS ACRES

D Generation - S/T

 

Total price for this heap: Five bucks. Woohoo! Now if you'll scuse me I got some listenin' to do.

 

Excellent way to spend 5 bucks, that Jetboy disc alone is worth the effort... Then you get DT and D'Generation ta boot.

I like to know, what he got rid of. :D

Love D Generation... One of the coolest live bands I ever saw. Great haul in general... and for a super price.

Yup, reissued and released by Retrospect. The three bonus tracks sound way better here than the demos I had of them.

Love D Generation... One of the coolest live bands I ever saw. Great haul in general... and for a super price.

 

I never got to see D Generation, tho I tried several times while they were gigging heavily around my area. Something always seemed to come up at the last minute that kept me from checkin'em out.

 

...when I saw KISS' Reunion Tour in 96 they opened one of the four Madison Square Garden shows (each night was a different opening band) and though I hoped that I'd get D-Generation at "my" show, unfortunately they played the night before... so I wound up sitting through 311 (!!!) in that opening spot. :puke:

That Cars is great - I'm loving these "instant record collection" sets heh! I grabbed ELO the other day .... although it's not really HH stuff I think I'll be grabbing The Byrds one when I next get paid.

Yeah. I have picked up a few in the last year or so. I had a few ELO already, so bought the 5 pack one to round them all up. The Sisters Of Mercy one is really good, aswell as Loudness, Montrose, Santana, Mott The Hoople, Ted Nugent & The Pretenders. I'm contemplating getting the Complete Epic albums Cheap Trick box with the remastered later albums (Standing On The Edge onwards) which ain't been done before, but it ain't up on Amazon as of yet.
