HAHA! I am almost scared to say what I did today. This will mean nothing to anyone outside of Australia... But I went out to collect money from the bank for the till today and before I went to the bank I quickly ducked into a CD shop and bought *cringe*... wait, wait. Before I say it, I should say I only bought it because:

a ) Andre (melodircrockoz) actually said AGES ago that this was a good disc.

b ) It was $2

Anyway, I bought...

Lee Harding - whatever the f*ck it's called.

He's the punk looking dude that was on Oz Idol some time ago right? I haven't heard that name for a while... Let me know if there's anything good on that disc, I won't tell anyone!

Andre defiles emo.

I couldn't whole heartedly disagree with such a bold & definitive & innovative statement

Latest acquisitions...

Saints of the Underground: "Love the Sin, Hate the Sinner" (expected better, given the talent involved)

Shinedown: "Sound of Madness" (excellent modern rock/metal)

A few trade bits!

Mr. Big - S/T

Mr. Big - Lean Into It

Mr. Big - Bump Ahead

Some people around here don't care much for Mr Big but I think those three cds are excellent.

Me too, there is some filler IMO, but also some REALLY killer tracks that make owning them well worth it.

Yeah - I noticed from some of the reviews and the odd thing said over here. Don't know why they get slated really, as there are some killer songs, especially on the first 2. I have the other 3 coming as well, and although they are a little patchy, even they have some good tracks on them.

Anyways - each to their own.

Of all of the bands from the late 80's/early 90's that get lumped together in that horrible named genre "Hair Metal", Mr. Big was probably the most talented musically IMO.
