My brother used to have a Carcass T-shirt that said "I REEK OF PUTREFACTION" in huge drippy letters on the back. He got a lot of stares when he wore that one in the mall.

I've only heard a few of the earlier tracks, and the music is still damn fine, but I would have to agree that HW and SS we're a step in a more "commercial" direction if you can even call it that. "Generation Hexed" is a mutha of a song IMHO, I heard that on the radio and I had to go out and get it. I would say snag Heartwork, and then maybe sample the earlier stuff before you buy it if possible.

 

Sounds like a cool shirt your brother had FF, I'd love to wear something like that to a corporate meeting sometime...

 

Anywho, on topic for once...

 

Just received Avantasia Pts. 1 & 2. Been meaning to get 'em for a while now. Good ol' symphonic metal, can't have too much of that as far as I'm concerned.
