Backed...One of my fave bands..I don't see a lot of people playing this release....

 

 

I play this one a few times a year, awesome stuff.

I agree 100% - the fact is that so far this year quite a few modern releases like Story Of The Year, Simple Plan, Tupelo Honey, Pillar, Theory of A Deadman etc are better than most MHR efforts.....aside from Brother Firetribe, WOA and Khymera........and so definitely deserve the attention they are receiving - from me anyhow.

Yep, backed entirely. I completely agree that at this point the so called modern rock releases are generally killing the MHR releases. I'd feel as though I was cheating myself by listening to lesser stuff just because it's MHR. As you say, though, there are killer releases in both fields and some gems on the horizon.
