Doksdad
Kind of unforgettable. I have the album but I can't name a single song off of it.
Evil Rick
A friend of mine had a Bose system in her house and I would always crank up "Dream Girl" on it. Man I love that song. The rest of the album is great also.
Doksdad
Just spun the Dream Girl tune and Rick is right, great tune. Man, the lead singer has some pipes!!! I guess I better give this one another chance.....
2023 Gold Donors headbanger4life Posted January 16, 2006 2023 Gold Donors Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 Man, I loved these guys. They all played in a lot of other bands with each other (Medicine Wheel, Bangalore Choir, Bad Moon Rising). Haven't played it in a while though. Think I'll pull it out later today. Geoff
I voted yes, a good CD. 'Too late' is not a song, but a work of art. 'Wild young and crazy', 'Bad boy breakout' and 'Bad to love' are all killer 80's hard rockers and 'Dream girl' is another beautiful ballad. 'I walk alone' is a monster closer too. Yeah, I really dig the 3 ballads and the rockers are cool too. Overall, I think it's a good solid hard rock CD. Only complaint is the rough vocals in places, but overall it's very good. LV KIX
By the numbers... some good songs.... nothing special. Also, not a very good live band.
Jez
More failed 80's wannabees!!!!
crazynights
Wild, young & crazy drives me wild. I guess the know how to rock. Typical hair metal nothing really new, but who cares? This is what I like.
Jacob M.
At one point this was one of the top albums of all time for me. After further listens and hearing other artists it becomes obvious how cliched they are. Still some good tracks to be had here.
metaltrekman
Never heard of them. So I didnt vote
66 mustang
got the cd. after the first listen I got the aggressive feel of Skid Row mixed with the party and glam of someone like Poison or Warrant. Fun party rock but a bit more aggressive than most.

Fat Freddy
That weird spelling of "Hericane" always bugged me... OK, there was already a band called Hurricane, and everyone knows that intentional misspellings are SO hair metal, but still "Hericane?" Duh. OK, there was already a band called Hurricane, and everyone knows that intentional misspellings are SO hair metal, but still "Hericane?" Duh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, it's an odd one, that's for sure. I actually have a 7 track demo of when they were called Hurricane Alice. Awful sound quality, pretty poor songs - nothing like 'Tear the house down'. I doubt I'll listen to it again, but yeah... they were once called Hurricane Alice. Not sure why they changed it to Hericane??? I'd love to know why too, and how they came up with that? Fat Freddy
Probably to avoid confusion with the "other" Hurricane... but then why not just change the name outright? The "Hericane" misspelling just makes'em look like they're retarded... "Duh, these guys can't even spell!"
speed demon
Good hard rock band with some killer ballads! Better than average in my opinion. My style of music. Good stuff.
glam_junkie
If they wanted to go with a name change then why didn;t they go for "hair-icane alice'
Fat Freddy
Or "Alice Hurricane?" That's got a decent ring to it
aMetalhead1966
or Hericane Alice in Chains Hurricane
Blue Charvel
I really dug it back in the day, but it was never a favorite, just better than average for me.

Skid
Not sure why they changed it to Hericane??? I'd love to know why too, and how they came up with that? The simple answer can be found here http://www.sleazeroxx.com/interviews/mayoint.shtml and interview I did with bassist Ian Mayo.
