It was alright. Some good laughs, but I wouldn't rush to the cinema to see it.

 

From the trailer, that flick kinda looked like a "Men in Black" ripoff to me, with dead people instead of aliens. Is that an accurate assessment?

Jungle Cruise (2021) - enjoyed this as it appears they threw bits of POTC, The Mummy and Indiana Jones into a mixer and came up with this flick, worth checking out IMO....

Wow.. I LOVED this movie!! Probably one of the goriest horror flicks I have EVER seen!!~ They sure did amp up the blood and gore from the original!! I was skeptical at first when I heard they were doing a remake, but WOW was it GOOD!! There are parallels with the original Evil Dead, and even part 2....

 

If you enjoyed the original?? you will LOVE the remake.....

I couldnt disagree more.

 

Saw this and was so so sad I did. As I stated then, the only redeeming thing in the movie was the inclusion of the infamous Raimi Oldsmobile.

 

 

Watched Movie 43. Excellent stuff. Harkens back to the irreverence of Kentucky Fried Movie. Glad this movie was made at least someone is doing something worth while in Hollywood.

Parental Guidance - was at dads camper on the lake Friday night, staying till Saturday morning then going on to Gatlinburg Aquarium for my girls 9th birthday. it was an ok watch. no tv so it was movies only. I brought Fast 5 but decided to try something we havent seen after the girls went to bed.

Wow, Terry. Really? I'm sorry, mate, but you just lost all film recommendation credibility with me. That film was terrible. You realize it is unanimously being considered one of the worst films ever created?

Yeah..me too for different reasons. 'Dredd' was really excellent..very violent, but not like the usual big budget Marvel movies, which I really liked. 'Hotel Transylvania' was good too, excellent animation and amusing script.

managed to get to see this tonight,took two of my sons,it was excellent,really enjoyed it,transformers v godzilla :)

 

also got to see the lone ranger,read bad reviews for this one,but I actually quite liked it,not brilliant but enjoyable

      I wonder what control they have over the releases? That have promoted the BMG individual releases. The 2009 reissues were by original label, EMI. And this boxset seems weird being issued by Cherry Red. And I have not seen the bands social media promote it at all. I wonder if the reason the BMG ones were lacking in the bonus tracks from the previous reissue was EMI holding onto the rights, but have now allowed Cherry Red to release them. I know EMI used to be the distributer for Cherry Red, so they may be more forthcoming with the material.

      I have been a Band Maid fan since their early days (2015) as I really don't mind foreign vocals as long as the music is great, but I always kinda avoided Babymetal as I saw a video of them once and really wasn't impressed with the kiddy vocals, so never gave them another chance. Fast forward to now and on the back of the collab with Electric Callboy I have decided to give them a go. I thought they had a huge discography as they have like 25 albums, but on closer inspection it is only four studio albums and 21 live albums. As I am not a fan of live albums anyway, I decided to buy the four studio albums as they are all quite cheap. Have to say there music is a mixed bag, but overall really enjoying a lot of it. Not sure if I just picked the wrong song to start with, or if it is just that I have adapted more due to getting into a lot of weird and wonderful foreign bands over the last few years, but I am glad I finally gave them a proper go. Have to say, if this song was sung in English I think they would have a lot of fans on here

      Another i'm still awaiting the arrival of...same day release/delivery my arse Amazon  Still this is sounding like their best release thus far...they are gaining and getting better...although I did enjoy the last few albums also...but the sound/production from this one is excellent.

      Yeah, there is a definite push on the re-releasing of their stuff this last wee while by them for some reason.
