No I am a dope :) Actually from what little I've heard they're pretty good, a couple are a bit out there, but I do like a bit of psychedlic and odd prog stuff - still not sure about the Atlantean Sparrows as this seems the oddest but I need to give it a good listen. Strangely enough the one I thought I would enjoy least Sacros, is pretty good in a weird relaxing way, they sing in Spanish so I have no idea what they're on about but I played it all the way through and enjoyed it. Mind you not really HH fodder. It was 5 CDs for £20 so I thought "Lets mix it up baby!"

Normal service will be resumed soon....just to balance things over the last few days I ordered

Ambrosia - Road Island

Ambrosia - One Eighty

Robby Valentine - A Tribute to Queen (waiting for reply from his site)

Pre ordered

UFO - Seven Deadly

The Godz - Last of the Outlaws

No-Man - Love & Endings...ok this is a bit off track again.

BLITZSPEER - Live

BEDROKK - Undertow

Nice Gems Nelson.. :beerbang:

Thanks. But up to now, I don't know how to classify that Blitzspeer band. I haven't heard of their first full lenght SAVES and I read from nolifetilmetal.com that some people classify them as thrash. In my opinion, they're just a traditional heavy metal band. Any opinion on this?

Blitzspeer was a Metal band that borderlined on Thrash (IMO).They were also a part of the New York scene back then (Circus Of Power, Raging Slab, The Lost, The Beautiful, Law & Order). Wasn't as big as the L.A. scene, but happening.

Looks like DEATH "Individual Thought Patterns". I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be your bag...

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
