Its basically a bunch of stuff he wrote & recorded with various artists for their albums of just test stuff!

All of it is from tape source so sound quality isnt perfect.

Interesting to hear Seb Bach before he joined Skid Row,and the Nelson songs are pretty cool as well.

Still you cant go wrong with an album that features Seb,the Nelson boys,Kelly Keeling,Fiona & Richard Black!

Duh...last week, I went to Metal Mayhem and got 2 Ivory Tower cd's as well as cd's by Trixie and Goodnight Gracie.

Any fans of early Crue might like Trixie. The singer sounds like a young Vince and the band is kind of like PBF + Crue. ;)

Ivory Tower - Little Bits Of Dreams is a great rocker!

Metal Mayhem

Andy has some soundbytes up at Melodic Rock if anyone wants to check them out. They're on the left of the main page

Have been feeling in need of some more relaxing listening this week....

Jean Beauvoir "Chameleon" (killer return)

Rick Knowles "Rush" (Canadian pop/rock like Richard Marx)

Robin Beck "Wonderland" (sub-Celine Dion drivel)

and a couple of E.P's...

Pride of Lions "Black Ribbons"

Jeff Scott Soto "Believe In Me"

The Pride of Lions sounds amazing, and the live stuff is killer. Sounds like the new album could be a whole load better than the fairly mediocre first (Freddy doesn't visit here, does he?!)

Can't believe I missed this. BC, you are one enlightened, phenomenally good taste-having MF. Congratulations and Thank You for supporting one of the best musicians to come down the pike. At the first ever HHMB Festival, I owe you a drink or two! :drink:

Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors (backwards print)

That's excellent...it pisses me off they "dumbed down" the cover for the reissue.

It was weird, because I found a bunch of the reissues and I told my husband I was looking for the original w/the backwards print. Next store we hit, he comes over and says, "Like this one?" And it was only $3.99! :headbanger:

QUOTE (TIM (2) @ Aug 19 2004, 04:59 AM)

Jean Beauvoir "Chameleon" (killer return)

I was just listening to the samples on NEH & so far it sounds pretty good. Have you heard the whole thing yet?

Hi Christine,

Managed to get an advance CD of this, is very 'pop' sounding and you have to live with it a bit, but there are some very catchy songs on it.... (if you don't mind a bit of variety)

Didn't just buy it, but just got Butch Walker - Letters (and, This Is Me....Justified & Stripped) in the mail.

YES, you read it right. I have it the day before it comes out. Sony didn't totally biff on this like they did with Heartwork. (Although, talked to someone who had it last week.)

I'm a happy little boy right now! :D:D:D:D:D
