Just got:

MIND'S EYE - Walking on H2o

Great Pomp/Prog AOR. I loved Novak's recent solo disc but this definitely sounds better - killer keyboards here.

Just got Not By Choice - 'Maybe one day' in the mail yesterday (Thanks Dave!!!). I like it. I'm starting to wonder if I'm ever going to get Skitzotik now... :( Unless a penguin is personally hand delivering it to me, last time I checked it doesn't take 3 weeks to get a CD from US to Australia.

give it time geoff... I just got one yesterday that took close to 5-6 weeks to arrive. (Although going by the post mark it was only sent 12 days).

cheers

Lindsay

Yeah, the dude's got so-so feedback - doesn't actually say CDs didn't arrive, but a few people say he's very slow. Patience is not one of my many amazing qualities.

Pearl Jam - Ten

Absolute classic, "grunge" or not, killer stuff...

How's the Jesse Strange?

Yeah I played the cassette all the time before it (Ten) took off. I've been keeping my eye out for a cd copy of it for a while now, got it cheap so I can't complain.

Looking For Some Strange is great! If you like the first this one compares very nicely to it. Just getting through track 5 now--a cool power ballad called "What's Loving For".

W.A.S.P. - W.A.S.P. (Snapper Remaster)

Okay, ya got me, what's a "Snapper Remaster"?

It's the label that apparently reissued it w/ bonus tracks. As for who they are, I have no clue because I thought Sanctuary had done all the WASP reissues. It's the first time I've seen this label.
