I went with Whetton, just because I like his all around style, and have always enjoyed it, I really liked Adam, the guy that sang for the group Mozart, thought he had a cool style, and who the fuck is Chad Kroeger? is that that shitty fucking dude that cant sing, in the group silverchair, or nicklelbag, or whoever that generic shitty Seven Mary Three Wannabe band is? come on, tell me that's sarcasm??? please don't tell me you lumped that peice of shit in with legends such as Plant, Halford, Wheton, and even though I was never a fan, Mercury!!!! because that is the equivalent of putting Green Day on a poll of best musicians of all time.

I also really like the guy that sang on Bostons Walk On cd, and Orion The Hunter, can't ever think of his name, but he's pretty smooth, so's Fee Waybill, and Rik Emmett, Harry Hess, etc... etc... etc.....

Paul Rodgers - Ohhh sorry not there again!!!

Robert Plant followed by Steve Perry.

Proven yet again Jez that you are a very wise man.

In regards to point 1 {How can you have a poll on Rock Male singers and not have  Sir Paul included :wtf: }.

Agree with you again on the other two vocalists mentioned

Impossible for me to choose between Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, and Bruce Dickinson... that's the Holy Trinity of Metal right there! :headbanger:

Steve Walsh followed by Steve Perry, close call but I like how Walshys voice seems to be more..."dynamic" ...hmm doesn't explain it well that does it?

I just thinks he uses his voice in a wider range of styles than Mr. Perry, just take a listen to Glossolalia and you'll get an idea of what I mean.

Steve Perry is a superb vocalist though but he sings pretty much the same style song after song BUT when he sounds that good then why change?

Arrrgghhhh...yes Walshy by a gnat's chuff!

My fave ever vocalist is probably John Waite...and he doesn't vary massively in the way he sings either.

Well If I go for MY Faves from this list I'd Go with Roth,Plant,Lemmy Halford,Dio..It's really an individual choice IMO. I Really like Roth's Voice,Yeah It's not the greatest but for me It's My Fave..Lemmy has a great Voice...rough and tough yet a lot of Character...I don't really

like the super sweet voices of Perry or Walsh..

Believe me when I say that you will probably know Matt Harris very well in the near future. If all goes as planned you will see cd release of his old bands material. When you hear it you will be stunned as have all who have heard his voice. Those who have heard his band will probably be able to figure out who I'm talking about. I've only sent demos of the one band to people on this board.

Not really a huge fan of any of those guys except the sensational James Labrie. Easily gets my vote.

I believe that Kroeger (Nickelback) is underrated,ok there are other like Rodgers that are better but kroeger is here because Nickelback is one of the groups with more votes in the poll of metal bands.........there are others but there are only 20 options......and if Kroeger is underrated there are others overrateds like Mrs Bon Jovi for example.

Wow dude... I like Nickelback's last album a lot, but dude... you can't seriously call that dude's voice anything other than horrible, fan or not... can you? It's like Hinder, Britny Fox, Slaughter, Cinderella - all AMAZING bands, but just because they're good bands doesn't mean I can't admit the vocalists are terrible. And Nickelback, imo, is 100% worse vocally than all.

Sorry mate, don't hate any of them, but I don't like any either... apart from LaBrie. Sorry. :(

    • I used to listen to their '89 and '91 albums a lot but every try to get used to their newer outputs didn't work. Now I took some time again to listen to their last few albums and somehow I started loving them. Not every song but 70-80% on each album, which is quite a lot. I'm very excited for "Speed of Darkness". The first two songs are good (not as good as my favourites on the last albums, though but a good start). In "The ghost" I sometimes feel like the voice is a bit late here and there, which is something that I notice pretty often recently. Don't know why that happens (e.g. the new Kissin Dynamite songs, Autumn's child the last two albums, Lordi sometimes on the last album). I hope it's only in that song.
    • Holy shit. Get with the fuckin' times!            I also wanna know.
    • Ya I bought the cassettes of them when they came out & I still have them but I played the first one so much the tape got funny ...lol. The CD's sound good.
    • Not bad,I will say its created an earworm in me ,but they have a few songs like this now ,some tts42572 pointed out and not long ago we got Kick which had similar leanings,I get it thats what they grew up on etc and I suppose they can always just do what they like,I'd personally prefer they did new stuff in the vein of All Time High/Gimme A Kiss but they are in their 60's now so I'm just glad they're still around, have been my favourite band since I was about 7 or 8.
    • Not the rocking 80's Def Leppard but I still like that tune.  Very much in the style of their more "glam" songs and sounds like a mixture of C'Mon C'Mon and Back In Your Face. From a recent interview I saw with Rick Savage, sounds like an album is in the works and he said they're aiming to have it out in 2025.  Not sure if this song will be on it or not.  Hopefully it does as the OCD in me likes having songs find proper places on albums and not just floating around on their own as singles
    • Erik Grönwall    Thank you Michael Schenker for allowing me to feature on this release together with you and SlashThis Swede is very honored to be in your company. ⠀ Thanks for letting me sing on this UFO classic and for allowing me to be a very small part of your long and successful career. ⠀ Also thank you Max and the team at earMUSIC for coordinating this. Michael Schenker - Mother Mary - Feat Slash and Erik Grönwall - out June 19th!
    • Okay, I must be completely behind the times with this, but are you guys saying that there’s a website that allows you to create your own AI generated songs?
    • I paid $25 for my Black 'N Blue when it was released.  When I picked it up at one of my local haunts and played it to a mate of mine, he loved it and asked me to order him a copy, which I did the next day. That night he picked up a copy at another store (I wasn't thrilled). When I called the next day to cancel the order, the guy cracked the shits. I'd purchased a lot from this store, but that was it. Never went back.
    • Have look at Surrender (15), and price for the original, not the re-issue.
