This is a great site and forums!!! This is one of my favorite sites already!

 

These forums are the most active I've ever seen!!! You guys rock!!!

 

One thing that I think would be a GREAT addition, would be to add a....Chat Room!!! I think that would be very cool!!!

We've had one twice I believe, and they were removed because of lack of use. I guess since eveyone goes to bed and works at so many different hours, it is difficult. I went there quite a bit, but it was empty a lot. Of course, sometimes we had 10 people or more. I liked it, personally. ...Tim

As busy as I am right now I know that I wouldn't have time for it. In a couple weeks I should be a lot more free. Between work and school I'm getting my butt kicked. I can't wait till it's all said and done. Then I can spend more time with my Internet buddies. If and when it happens I'll be here. I just hope that there will no longer be enormous obstacles in the way of me and my hobbies.

As I have mentioned before, I used the chat room a few times. I found it really useful when working on trades with other members. Instead of sending personal messages back and forth, you were able to communicate much better in the chat room. I think it would be nice to bring that aspect of the site back if possible.

I've never used a chat room at all so it would be a new experience for me... you mean, Jarred, Wes and I could argue about the relative merits of KISS' "Unmasked" vs. "The Elder" live in real time? Count me in! :lol:

I think it could be fun if enough people took advantage of it. That everyone could see how stupid I am all at one time.

I was wondering the same thing. I have no clue what those little letters and stars mean. I'm just not "with it". The most advanced I am is lol! :lol: As you can tell, I haven't done chat rooms either, but I'd be for it.

When chat rooms first became big in the late 90's they were a blast to be a part of. You could go into Yahoo chat and talk about anything. I used to love getting in the middle of console wars. I was always on the side of Sega. That wasn't a popular stance so I always got flamed bad. Those were good times. As the Internet became bigger and the technology better people found ways to ruin it. Bots were created to try and lure people to porn sites, rooms were no longer used properly, and nobody would talk about anything. Pervs also created rooms to try and lure young kids. I'm surprised Yahoo let it go on as long as it did. It's amazing how such a cool thing could be abused and destroyed in such a short amount of time.

I think *G* is for *Grins* and *L* is for *Laughs* and *Chuckles* is for joining the Chuckle Patch down at the Magic Garden. :anon:
