What's a spinnin' in your CD player?

Sahara Rain - 'Sand in your hands' ; poor.

I hate to read that as the samples sounded promising IMO.

Seriously doing nothing for me at all. Towards the end they throw in a couple of decent tracks, but mostly it's just bland, boring hard rock.

Dokken - Dysfunctional

This isn't anywhere near as bad as I had expected, I kind of like it... :anon:

That album gets a lot of hate for some reason but I dig it a lot. It was odd, when I bought it as a new release in '95 I listened to it a couple of times, went "Ehhh, whatever" and put it on the shelf for awhile. A year or so later I picked up the ONE LIVE NIGHT unplugged/live disc and got hooked on the live version of "The Maze" from DYSFUNCTIONAL that was on there, so I pulled the album back off the shelf and it suddenly clicked, and I mean clicked BIG time. Nowadays I still listen to that one a lot... :beerbang:

Now playin': Liege Lord, FREEDOM'S RISE

I've loved that cd from the moment I bought it.

Not sure why so many hate on it but for me it's killer.

They incorporated the 2 and 3 part harmonies of the classic Dokken sound but was able to add a more Modern(modern for that time) touch and I think it sounds great. So many classics on there like the great ballad "Nothing Left to Say" to the killer "Shadows of Life", "Long Way Home", "Lesser of Two Evils", "The Maze", "Too High to Fly", "Hole in my Head" and "Inside Looking Out".

Damn now I have to pull this one out and give it a spin. :banger:
