That National Product album is superb !

It really is. The first two songs are absolute perfection, especially 'Collision.' I remember searching regularly to see if they or the members ever released anything after the debut, for years, but it never seemed to happen. Am I right thinking they hailed from Hawaii? Killer band.

It's sad listening to all these great bands like National Product, Monty Are I, Lorene Drive, Just Surrender, Last Winter etc. and wondering what on earth happened to all these guys. There have been some truly great modern rock bands in recent years.

Yep agreed , By all Means , which I think is the first song is perfection and Paper and Ink is another great one though the whole album is great

I too have searched and sadly nothing else from them and as you say many of those other bands that have disappeared , Though I've never heard of Last Winter

May have to check them out

Yeah, definitely check out 'Under The Silver Of Machines.' They have an album before it, but any worthwhile song is re-recorded for the 2nd album, and they all sound 100% better. Very good disc.

    • As long as they stick with the stuff I enjoy I don't mind...ill enjoy what I enjoy and they can release stuff that others may enjoy...win win for them. As Captain H pointed out other labels have already done this...they don't anna be pigeonholed as one genre I suppose.
    • I get the feeling that they wanna sign a lot of bands but they don't wanna be seen signing to the "hair metal" label, so this makes 100% sense. I saw on here recently a post from a few months back discussing how weird it was for hair metal/aor bands to be signed to Napalm Records, and I kinda get that as it is known as an extreme metal label, but it has branched out so much over the years, same as Spinefarm. There will always be those who view things black and white (fans and bands) when it comes to things like record labels, so save on confusion and create sister labels. I could imagine them shifting their heavier stuff to a new label as well down the line. I mean lets face it, the main label is named after a Journey album, so you can kinda see why some bands would avoid them.
    • Anything created to promote our music is good news and Skunk Anansie are quality.
    • FRONTIERS EXPANSION, NEW LABEL IMPRINT AND MAJOR SIGNING NEWS! A special message from Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Label Group: Dear friends, I am thrilled to announce the creation of Frontiers Label Group, which will umbrella Frontiers Music Srl and further labels, the first of which is our new imprint FLG. This expansion allows us to diversify and strengthen our position in the rock and metal landscape, while continuing to uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning. While Frontiers Music Srl remains home to melodic rock, hard rock, and metal artists, FLG will be dedicated to pushing the boundaries of rock and alternative music. This bold step marks our continued evolution as a leader in the rock and metal genres, and it is with immense pride that we welcome rock icons Skunk Anansie to the FLG family as the first signing to our new imprint. The signing of Skunk Anansie is a meaningful moment in the history of Frontiers, an important landmark in our development as one of the leading international rock and metal labels. This is only the beginning! We are excited to bring more news and announcements in the coming months as we continue to grow and expand Frontiers Label Group, our imprints and our roster of incredible artists. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new journey together! Long Live Rock n’ Roll!! Serafino
    • New song 'The End Of Time'.
    • New video for 'Without You'.
    • Added Framing the Red over on the main site recently: Framing the Red discography reference list of music CDs. Heavy Harmonies Their website: Framing The Red Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/framingtheredband Their YouTube channel: (23) Framing the Red Official Page - YouTube They have four releases, and all are quite good in my opinion. If I had to describe them, I'd say this is what Gunshine would sound like if they went in a more southern rock direction.  Here are some of my favorite tracks... Crossroads   Whiskey & Weed   Holy Water   Mississippi Hippie   Heroes   Bonnie & Clyde   Rockin' Into the Night (38 Special cover)   "Crossroads" and "Heroes" are probably my two faves.  *I will give a word of warning:  if you decide to purchase any of their discs, they are barebones releases with just the CD in a cardboard slipcase. I enjoy the music enough that that's not an issue for me though.  @lettard @KarpetRydOFunk @tts42572 @AlphaMale @Dead Planet @Mr.AOR @tobi is an animal I think all of you gentlemen should give these guys a listen and see what you think.
    • H.E.A.T - 1000 Miles Vega - Hands In The Air The Defiants - Stay Issa - River of Love I'm at work right now so that's all I know off the top of my head but I'll look through my library for more when I get a chance.
