Story Of The Year - The Constant :beerbang:

I dug that one out this morning too, great stuff. Arguably the last really great modern rock album released...

I do personally prefer the Trust Company CD, even if I admit SOTY are a much better band. But even in the year of 'The Constant's release I don't think it made my top 10 in modern rock, let alone the years that followed. Don't get me wrong. Reliable CD from an ever-reliable band, but far from spectacular and easily topped - many times - since it's release, in my personal opinion.

Playing:

Halo ; both CDs - the debut is super but about 2 songs into the 2nd CD you start thinking to yourself, 'Can you guys just shut the f*ck up about your obsession with God and Jesus. You c*nts. Shut the f*ck up.' But the 1st CD is excellent and the 2nd one sounds okay-ish.

I think you should dig it out and spin it again!

Apart from the average opener its pretty awesome throughout...and the 2 bonus tracks are great too.

Played all their albums to death recently, when I went to see them in October just passed. As I said, love the band, but imo there's a lot of better CDs since. ;)
