James Bond: Quantum of Solace

 

A good movie but not as good as the previous one.

 

Yeah that's what I thought. Good stuff but nowhere near the stunts or great storyline of "Casino Royale" IMO...

finished AUSTRALIA this morning, man that was a long movie. I'd like to know what the folks from Australia think of the movie

My wife loved it and I'll buy it for her on DVD sometimes... then let you know my thoughts.

 

'The Wicker Man' (remake) - I actually enjoyed this a lot until the end. The end was just shit. I was hoping his gun was still loaded and he'd put a bullet through his ex-fiance's skull and her mother. Just something... to see some of the whores destroyed. But there was absolutely nothing. Still pretty cool, I guess, and I don't hate it as much as others clearly do.

 

'Gladiator' - Loved it. 100% through and through my kind of movie. Just awesome.

 

'The Pursuit of Happyness' - my wife doesn't like chocolate (yay me, especially during Easter) so I bought this and 'Ladder 49' for her for Easter. Still love this film - the "sweetest" I've seen I must admit.

 

'Ladder 49' - Still like this one a lot too. Very sad. Good movie though.

"Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" -- fun stuff. About halfway thru it the kids lost interest and resumed running buck wild around the house so I probably missed a bunch of jokes, I'll have to watch it again by myself sometime soon.

The Penguins have their own series on Nickelodeon now! My six year old loves 'em. The only problem is that every time he watches their toon, I have to stop him from imitating those Ninja Penguin moves for awhile afterwards.
