The Tom Cruise Remake...I actually really liked it...and I am NOT a Tom Cruise fan

at All...go figure..

 

I like Tom Cruise and thought it was such a let down

 

Everything is down with old Tom - maybe because he is so close to the ground!! ;D

Just finished watching an absolutely crap-tacular 70s horror film called "Class Reunion Massacre" (also known as "The Redeemer: Son of Satan" according to IMDB), which was apparently trying to combine the slasher genre with the "Omen" evil-child genre (both of which were very popular at the time)....with positively godawful results. The only good thing about it was the Farrah Fawcett lookalike who was wearing a short skirt for the entire movie. This is what you get when you buy DVDs at the dollar store.

I saw this at the cinema with an old girlfriend I was with and she was gripping my arm and jumping all over the place, almost spoilt my enjoyment of the film.

 

Really enjoyed this but the sequels` were crap

X-Files - Good but not great and the plot was kind of ridiculous.

 

Hancock - A very good flick IMO with a nice suprise or two.

Man, the guy who plays Randy on My Name is Earl sure has lost a lot of weight! He was huge in Remember the Titans and in American History X (which I watched yesterday ... again). Dang!

Hancock - liked it. DO NOT read the back of the cover. It gives too much away. it would be like picking up sixth sense and reading ...spoiler....Bruce Willis' character, which doesn't know he is dead.........end spoiler.... just gives too much away.

 

Journey To The Center Of The Earth - I liked it. pretty good

 

Clone Wars - was an ok watch. don't know how much rewatch value it has for me though.

Holy shit. Not a great film by any means but some brutal bits in this. The opening sequence of animal torture, and the middle scene where he tortures and kills a woman horrifically are stomach-churning. Rarely do horror films these days freak me out, but this one did.
