It will be on Spotify and Apple Music tomorrow - Got my bundle with Creye and Wig Wam etc through a day early.

Snap  :)

Very good after the first run through(all of em) but the Wig Wam is my fav at the minute.

Gave this a listen and been through twice so far.

Basically, I dig the first 5 songs but second half is a little hit and miss until One Final Kiss which is killer.

Still a handful of good tunes I'll initially be adding to my playlist though and we'll see how it goes after a few more listens.

New lyric video for 'One Final Kiss'.

The tune is great, but the lyrics are a bit weird. The words don't flow as nicely as they could. Seems like it could've used a quick rewrite.

That might be my fav as well. One Final Kiss is awesome too though.

Not sure what my favorite is but my top 4 in no particular order would be Big Boys Don't Cry, Moment of Truth, Got To Be About Love and One Final Kiss.

Solid album though outside of a few tunes in the second half.  If this had come out in December it would've been top 3 for me in 2020.  However, I'm doubting it ends up that high for me this year with so much great stuff to come.  We shall see.

Either way, nice to be hearing quality new music.

Coming Home is easily top 4 imo

I like the music of that one...just the theme that doesn't do much for me.  I guess I've heard enough Coming Home type songs over the years.  Kind of the same thing for the Babylon tune.

lol, that's a good point. I feel like the lyrics have never been the strongest point of this project though (but then, how many AOR bands can claim that?)

At least they weren't ripped from other bands or the Frontiers encyclopedia of cliches. How many more times do we need to hear the "breaking my chains" line?

Truu! The first time I noticed it was "Walk Away" when they try slipping in the line "fool me once, then bad on you; fool me twice, then bad on me" when we all know it's supposed to be "shame on you/shame on me." There's no need to change the wording. It's sounds wrong, and it's the same amount of syllables.

Here in "One Final Kiss" there are multiple odd lines, but the one that bugs me most is "I took all it in fun." He sings it properly in the first chorus, "I took it all in fun," but the following choruses he fucks up, swaps "all" and "it," and it just sounds awkward.

    • New album closer due January 2025 on Cherry Red Records, first single from it is Trail Of Destruction. Love this...
    • I am not the biggest fan of live albums, in fact I generally could not give a flying fuck about them and even as a collector I only buy live albums if they are either really cheap, have a bonus studio track or two on them, they come with a live DVD or blu ray or a band really only has one live album. This though is pretty much an essential purchase as I really wanna hear how Erilk handles the classics.
    • That's not the video. It's just an audio track. Pretty much all bands do that now.
    • 'Fill My Sails' out October 18th. From Pride & Joy Music: Winding Road was formed in 2018 by Jan Hedlund (Coastline) and Magnus Åkerlund (Blender). The two musicians have played in numerous bands and played loads of different genres touring all over Sweden before. Their true love however was Melodic Rock and AOR. First, Winding Road recruited singer Jonas Tyskagen (Domino Drive) and began writing songs with the intention to make an album, i.e. their self-titled debut which was released in March 2021 on AOR Heaven. Now they are back with Pride & Joy Music as their new label and the follow-up release entitled “Fill My Sails” which once again includes 11 songs of pure melodic rock/AOR, again produced, mixed and mastered by Magnus Åkerlund. “Fill My Sails” also features some great guest musicians like Thomas Larsson (Glenn Hughes) and Fredrik Folkare (Unleashed). Line Up Jonas Tyskhagen: Lead Vocals Magnus Åkerlund: Guitars, Bass, Keyboards and Background Vocals Jan Hedlund: Drums and Background Vocals
    • 'Echoes' out October 18. Recorded & produced by: Carl Berglund at Studio RainRoom, Västerås, Sweden Mixed & Mastered by: Erik Martensson Line up: Carl Berglund: Guitar, Keyboards, Backing Vocals; Daniel Groth: Lead Vocals, Keyboards; Peter Ledin: Guitar, Backing Vocals; Richard Holmgren: Drums, Backing Vocals; Mikael Hagström: Bass, Backing Vocals
    • Under The Influence - Overkill
    • I, The Bloodstained Embryo - Mood
    • After a few more listens...I actually think this cover is over-sung. The last chorus is completely over the top. Robbie is a tremendous singer but he got too theatrical on this one IMO.
    • Top 5 radio hit??? On what stations? Tell me you have no creativity left, so you just do another predictable cover song! Just release the other song already. Stupid to promote it like the EP is coming out with new songs. It’s literally one more song we are waiting for now. And I use the term “waiting for” loosely! oh and how lazy can you be to have that be the video?
