yeah, they never reply to emails. but they're typical with zero standard deviation in their orders. safe and fast.

truth also is that some of their prices can be found also in my nearest drugstore....

Used to use them regularily when I was buying lotsa stuff from eBay a few years ago before I switch to Amazon as my main CD buying port of call, and had absolutely no problem with them.

They have been that way for years...I stopped dealing with them a long time ago...

Yup, I too stopped dealing with them years ago due to problems. Haven't regretted it either.

I don't have any problem with them. I don't email them either.

Same here. It's been a few years since I used them (due to $$$) but when I used to be able to buy CDs I used them quite frequently and never had an issue. But that said, I never emailed them either. Just ordered CDs and got them in a very timely manner. :)

Yeah, I've bought a couple things from them with no problems. It's just if you want to ask them a question about something you're shit out of luck, which makes absolutely no sense at all. Complete fucking idiots if you ask me...

I've bought several discs over the last few years from them and they came quickly and were all accurate. I've never had any need to communicate with them other than the actual ordering process.

Never had problems with them, but I haven't called them in years. I used to talk to Ryan's brother quite frequently...he was always very helpful. Sorry you're having issues with them.

I used to be able to get a response from Ryan at metal mayhem via email or call him, could chat on the phone for hours..., but somewhere along the line he totally quit responding to any form of communication.....I will say if I buy something from them either on ebay or their website they show up pretty fast....but I rarely do this anymore, I have been buying my stuff elsewhere.....this is too bad because Ryan is a good guy...... :(

Total idiot.- He selling bootlegs for $50-$60 & very difficult when replying to emails...

This may have been covered earlier, but what do you mean by this?

So Simple. For example : I'm interested in a X cd which costs $60. Then email the guy : blablabla is that the original? No response. Email again & again & again. After a few emails I got the answer. It's the "reissue". Of course there's no reissue out there just 3 bootleg versions. Email again for a few other rare cds (with a similar price) which I was afraid were bootlegs too. No response... Waste of time!

That sounds exactly like my experiences with them...except I usually gave up after a couple emails.

Emailing Metal Mayhem is a total waste of time, as useless as a eunech at a porno shoot. Used to buy some of their stuff off eBay and received everything pretty quickly, so no complaints there, but their communication skills are the worst in the melodic rock business.

Backed. I used to buy a fair bit from them but then when I had a problem & never got a response I decided not to bother with these type of 'buy them cheap, sell them fast' companies. Would rather pay a little bit more, get a CD in top condition (i.e, no broken case or damage), & get some half-decent customer service if things should go wrong...

Ryan is a loyal friend and great person ! Always fast shipping sometimes slow contact but he has other projects besides music . Metal Mayhem is a great company with some killer releases as we all know !! :guitbannana:

Just to clarify, he is not slow to respond, HE DOES NOT RESPOND! yes he has a main job he does, and other things, but if someone emails and asks if a certain cd is in stock, how long does it take to type a YES or NO?? I have alot going on too but it only takes me a second or two......no excuse to ignore emails from long time friends or potential customers....no excuse!

Simple answer, don't deal with them. Too many other reliable guys waiting to take their place. I had a small problem with a company a few years ago that I had dealt with on a regular basis (they simply did not process an order I had called in to the owner directly, then blamed me for not checking in sooner after it was not mailed for a month). I laughed over it, as no money was exchanged. I haven't missed a night of sleep since.

    • I was a pretty big fan. Nature Of The Beast is a killer song. Saw them with Dave Gleeson from the Screaming Jets singing and he did an amazing job, but pretty sure they have a new singer now  I recently went through the two most recent albums before this one and there were a couple of ok tracks, but mostly mid. Fun fact: I saw the Angels a couple of years before Doc died at the Middle hotel in Ferntree Gully and they seemed to hate each other. Pretty sure Doc said nothing to the crowd all night. Fun fact 2: when they were building the transit bar in Melbourne, a mate and I found a service elevator that went to the roof, which was under construction. After peeing off the roof, which is always fun, we realised that we could clearly hear the music 5 or 6 floors below from a DJ I think. He was playing Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again. We started yelling down the No Way Get Fucked, Fuck Off bit thinking we were hilarious. Then soon we noticed people looking up, and for some reason they seemed to be clearly hearing us. Another mate then called us to tell us security were on the way up the stairs so we took the service elevator down and managed to laugh it off. Stoopid drunk story I guess, but fun days.
    • Cheeky, getting your artwork in there. I wonder how you did that.  I like the vocal track on #1 and that'd be my pick. I personally don't dig the female versions of songs, because I'm not a female (yet?) and as these are songs written by ourselves I personally feel the best interpretation is an AI dude voice taking the place of your dude voice.
    • Yeah, that's great but this is obviously an accomplished musician probably completely in control of this output... not done with Suno, I'd bet. There's definitely dudes out there who are perfectly capable of doing their own music, like this dude, but for whatever reason might not be able to put a project together, again, for whatever reason... but this definitely feels a lot more like AI feeling in the missing gaps for someone otherwise in complete control of what he wants.  Either way, it is very cool indeed.  As Darkstone says, I'm not sure paying is the way to get the best results. I'm also not saying it isn't, especially with other platforms that are not Suno. I think already knowing what you're doing, musically, is the best way to get best results, personally. Suno, for example, is just perfect for someone who might enjoy writing lyrics but is not in any way shape or form an accomplished (or even adequate, lol) musician.  But yeah, it's pretty cool for some fun. I'm not sure if you checked out my links above. Keeping them pretty quiet due to lyrical content, lol, but you might dig some of the stuff in my links. 'As the moment passes by' and 'I'll wait for you' are two of my personal faves. Along with 'Faith to fall.'
    • Yeah, musically it's what you want, but vocally... Maybe Alex should take some vocal lessons from Ken Tamplin. ;}

    • Yep, although I was never a massive fan.
    • Yes, celebrating their fifty years. There only two original members left in the band. Dusty might agree with me the Angels died when the original singer passed away.
    • It's just not the same without the Doc though...
