I actually moderately liked the album, but haven't looked at it sideways since the first month of spins. Granted, an unusually large abundance of new music may have affected that... but still.

Have been playing the album since it was released and i still enjoy it,a couple of songs don't do it for me,but over all a great album.I really think some people out there need to bury their bias and give it a spin with a open mind,It's certainly one of the better releases from last year compared to some band's releases from that period.Axl comes up with some great arrangements still.

While I don't consider this album shit, I also don't think it's awesome either. It falls somewhere in between IMO. It has it's great moments but it also has a few "WTF???" moments as well.

I agree with you Rob. While I was pleasantly suprised at first it has seemed to go downhill the more listens I give to it. Not that I think it sucks or anything, it just doesn't do for me what the other GNR releases do for me. And before someone says to me give it a few more listens I've played well over 20 times. And again there are moments I like and I appreciate on the level that it's more of an Axl Rose solo album but with it carrying the GNR moniker it's impossible to not compare to the might 'Appetite' and the 'Illusion' releases.
