  1. I'm reading American Psycho thanks to some recommendations on here. Got it for xmas but only half way through so far. This is one fucked up book. I like it Although not so keen on the mean animal bits - cutting people's eyes out I can read, but not so much the animal stuff so I skim over that
  2. like it a lot! never heard it. and a cool site.. thanks goes onto my never-ending list
  3. can't give a fair judgment on this one as haven't heard it .. but did own their first so don't plan to listen to this Saw them at a festival as well and it was as exciting as watching paint dry would rather listen to Wolfchild
  4. not liking the name of the band, makes them sound like 14 year olds. never heard of them but I'm bored so gave it a go and listened to about 30 seconds of that one you recommended Geoff 'Heart heart heartbreak' and has bits that have potential, I just don't like the .. not sure what you call it? over dubbing echo or something? kind of like what Cher does with that "do you believe in love" thing. would be better without it
  5. haha nope, but it's a cool kind of holiday to have I read in the paper today it's actually from Irish descent .. although that is the only line I read so not sure if it was a piss take or not
  6. Down & Dirty - live fast not bad glamish rock for a bunch of guys who are around 16-17 year olds
  7. I don't do anything for it as it's not really celebrated here in a big way, sometimes get kids dressing up and door knocking, but not a lot. Would be a fun thing to celebrate especially if you have children. At least the movie is better than most Saturday nights, so I get to watch The Shining tonight
  8. take it easy - Gotthard been listening to this all day, love it nearly as much as 'lift you up'
  9. I hate this cover ! not keen on the band either but this is one of the worst in cover art
  10. Listened to Tesla today for the first time in ages. forgot how great they were. I like a good voice but this guy has something unique
  11. I like Turn Me Loose but it got overplayed at the time. I prefer Working for the Weekend Just Getting Started is a very good disc, especially the title track.
  12. ha I'm the same. I watched that on a plane trip surrounded by people and I'm balling my eyes out. I even turned the volume off at the end but that didn't help I can watch people being killed no problem, but if animal cruelty comes on the news I have to change the channel. Last night's movie on TV was "how to lose a guy in 10 days". More mindless crap but mildly entertaining. Kate Hudson annoys me though. She has no substance (although this was hardly a movie requiring substance). I feel like giving her a good feed as well she is so thin she is almost see through.
  13. Rock City Angels - deep inside my heart gruff vocals ... like it
  14. Sleeze Beez - screwed blued & tattooed haven't played this for a while. Good disc but the sound is crap, as in not loud enough. I have to turn the volume up extra notches to hear the damn thing
  15. I've read most of King's books but I don't remember this standing (!) out although my memory isn't that great and haven't read his books for a long time. I loved The Shining and the Green Mile though. The Shining gave me the total creeps
