Clerks - After years of reading how great this movie was while there was some very funny parts I was still left a little dissapointed. I found Mallrats to be much more hilarious.

You gotta be kiddin'... GREAT movie! Maybe I relate to it more cuz it's just so damn Jersey.

Backed...that is a Classic Movie.. :banger:

Saw V

What's 'V'?

lol. Sometimes I just go that extra mile.

'Street Kings' ; actually not bad at all. To be honest, I enjoyed it. Not usually into this sort of stuff but it kept along at a nice pace and... get ready, I'm actually going to say this... Keanau Reeves honestly wasn't that bad at all in it. Probably the best performance I've ever seen from him. Great film for the action buffs out there.

'You Don't Mess with the Zohan' ; yeah, I laughed a few times. Generally a pretty lame film, but some genuinely amusing bits. Not a Sandler fan by any stretch, but probably one of the best I've seen from him.

'Tropic Thunder' ; Not hilarious, but fun to watch anyway. A few lol moments, but some good fun entertainment.

'Inland Empire' ; oh christ. This was shit. I love Lynch's style and his work, but this and 'Eraserhead' are just piles of shit. Anyone can put random thoughts out there to be seen and awed at, but what's the point without anything to tie it all together? Didn't like it at all. The start was good, but when it ended and nothing made sense it was just a huge letdown.

I forgot to mention... the girl he falls for - the hair salon owner, is absolutely f*cking gorgeous.

James Bond: The Quantum of Solace

Not as good as Casino Royale IMO, but still a great film...

In the Valley of Elah - With Tommy Lee Jones, Charlize Theron, Susan Surandon, Jason Patrick and Josh Brolin.

About a US soldier on leave from Iraq that ends up dead and the investigation(or lack there of on the Military's part) that follows and how his father(Tommy Lee Jones) does everything he can to get to the bottom of how his son was murdered. A pretty damn good movie IMO that overall is pretty damn sad for many reasons. It's shame what happens to some of these poor men and women when they return home.

'Blue Velvet' - Another David Lynch film and sadly another miss... I think... for me. I'm still kind of undecided. Although it's miles better than 'Inland Empire' I was still left cold after it. Quirky, intriguing... but I don't know. Something was missing for me.

Dennis Hopper was amusing in it. The scene where he goes to see his super suave friend when they kidnap Jeffrey, and he's standing there dropping a 'f*ck' every second word - lol. Funny stuff, but yeah, I don't know. Just not sure about the movie. Graphic violence for '86, I'll say that. Well shot. Some cool characters. I don't even know what was missing, but something was. I think. Definitely got to see it again. I still prefer 'Lost Highway' and 'Mulholland Drive'.

Really? I thought Quantum was better. Still.. both have put Bond back to as he should be.

I guess cos I expected nothing from Casino Royale it just blew me away, but the expectations were higher for Quantum... Both great though.

EDEN LAKE

A quality British horror with a great ending. Essential for fans of psychological horror films.
