Well that caught my be surprise. I'm used to them being a very average band but that's not a bad song at all. Quite good, in fact.

Ordered my copy yesterday. Looking forward to this one.

Did you get that special edition?

You mean that special "Free" edition?

No, I pay for all CD's in my collection.

Unless I am mistaken, I believe the Karpeted One was piggybacking on my comment...

3 good tunes so far - sounding like a winner

Real shame its only 8 tracks - this could be the shortest album in history given that last track is just over 3 mins!!

Danko Jones' early albums were only around twenty minutes. A bunch of songs didn't even crack the two minute mark.

Best pure AOR record of the year by far....a cracking record, way too short at 32 minutes, but a cracker all the same.

How do the remaining tracks stack up?

Majorly consistent.. all 8 are great, but my faves are 'Alone' and 'Cry'. Production is tops and the vocals are to die for in places. It's pretty laid back throughout though, so you won't be getting your tennis racket out anytime soon ;). As I said, too bad they couldn't add a couple of tracks to this, as even though this is a filler free 30+ a bit minutes, it's way way too short...i've got EP's nearly as long.

I think adding up 2 killer tracks will benefit this album better, for now, it's a solid 75-80% album, not too far off from the debut but I like the debut better. Frankly, it's been a while since I heard the second album, but I think all three are quite similar in terms of score, and also sound.

    • FRONTIERS EXPANSION, NEW LABEL IMPRINT AND MAJOR SIGNING NEWS! A special message from Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Label Group: Dear friends, I am thrilled to announce the creation of Frontiers Label Group, which will umbrella Frontiers Music Srl and further labels, the first of which is our new imprint FLG. This expansion allows us to diversify and strengthen our position in the rock and metal landscape, while continuing to uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning. While Frontiers Music Srl remains home to melodic rock, hard rock, and metal artists, FLG will be dedicated to pushing the boundaries of rock and alternative music. This bold step marks our continued evolution as a leader in the rock and metal genres, and it is with immense pride that we welcome rock icons Skunk Anansie to the FLG family as the first signing to our new imprint. The signing of Skunk Anansie is a meaningful moment in the history of Frontiers, an important landmark in our development as one of the leading international rock and metal labels. This is only the beginning! We are excited to bring more news and announcements in the coming months as we continue to grow and expand Frontiers Label Group, our imprints and our roster of incredible artists. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new journey together! Long Live Rock n’ Roll!! Serafino

    • Added Framing the Red over on the main site recently: Framing the Red discography reference list of music CDs. Heavy Harmonies Their website: Framing The Red Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/framingtheredband Their YouTube channel: (23) Framing the Red Official Page - YouTube They have four releases, and all are quite good in my opinion. If I had to describe them, I'd say this is what Gunshine would sound like if they went in a more southern rock direction.  Here are some of my favorite tracks... Crossroads   Whiskey & Weed   Holy Water   Mississippi Hippie   Heroes   Bonnie & Clyde   Rockin' Into the Night (38 Special cover)   "Crossroads" and "Heroes" are probably my two faves.  *I will give a word of warning:  if you decide to purchase any of their discs, they are barebones releases with just the CD in a cardboard slipcase. I enjoy the music enough that that's not an issue for me though.  @lettard @KarpetRydOFunk @tts42572 @AlphaMale @Dead Planet @Mr.AOR @tobi is an animal I think all of you gentlemen should give these guys a listen and see what you think.
    • H.E.A.T - 1000 Miles Vega - Hands In The Air The Defiants - Stay Issa - River of Love I'm at work right now so that's all I know off the top of my head but I'll look through my library for more when I get a chance.
    • Maybe anything by the Darkness
    • Wig wam - hard to be a rock n roller
    • Saw these guys first time a couple of years ago, when they were 16-17 years old, they are absolutely awesome. They have been touring for a few years now, performing their own songs, yet haven't released anything, until now. I have tickets to see them this saturday, opening for Mercenary. First single and video:
    • I want to compile quite an extensive playlist of hard rock songs that has a key change in the end. Why? Cause I think it sounds awesome Some well known exambles are: Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer Wig Wam - In My Dreams Danger Danger - Don't Blame it on Love H.E.A.T - Beg Beg Beg
