The problem with Hinder is that they have not been that amazing without Austin. That said, the stuff Austin first released after he left was fucking awful as it was more pop sounding. Thankfully he seems to have gone back to the sound he had with Hinder going on these tracks

I've mentioned before how I was lucky enough to be exposed to Country & Western music from a young age and he always had that old school sound.
Here's a couple of his early tracks.
The first one is an Elvis cover that has been covered by many artists, but I love this version.
