Favourite Queen song?

Queen was one of the first bands i listened to and to this day i love them. It frustrates me that people think of them only for Bohemian Rhapsody, We will rock you, we are the champions..as they have one of the biggest and most diverse discographies.

 

So whats your # 1 Queen song?

 

For me its gotta be The Show must go on. Thats about as good as music gets!

I'm a huge Freddie Mercury fan , but one of my fav Queen songs has Brian May singing, it's called '39 from Night At The Opera, a little folk like track that simply kicks ass.

 

other favs include: Love Of My Life, I Want It All, Fat Bottom Girls and Bohemian Rhapsody (this one got so overplayed in the 90's that it drove me to not want to hear it.)

Too hard for me to narrow it down to a total favourite song, as they are such a brilliant band with such a vast and varied back catologue of work. It got a bit patchy in the mid/Late 80's, but If you don't like at least half a dozen Queen songs, I suggest maybe visiting a 'Pulse' shop to buy one

I find that Queen are the least liked or respected band amongst all my "rock" mates. Nobody seems to like them, not the 70's rock fans nor the melodic fans. Never understod it meself. Defin one of the greatest bands ever. Best song is a difficult one, anything from the first two albums is as good as anything from their peers of the same era - better than most.
