Good day!

 

My name is Sir Mike and after lurking around for a long time I have decided to activate myself. Primary to participate in the music discussions of course but also for some buisness talk! As I recently, somewhat regulary, have started to sell records at Ebay I thought it also could be useful to share my experiences, in the good/bad seller corner.

 

Some short info about me:

 

I’m in the “lower-mid-30ties” :), living with my wife (well not officially married but engaged) and our two kids. A record collector since 15 years and my favourite genres are AOR, Hard Rock & Progressive Rock/Metal. Have also been playing active in some unfamous acts in my youth, everything from early Black Metal to Rock N Roll. Did worked in the IT-buisness for many years until I decided to change machine against human. Started to study to a Behavioral Scientist (combined with some studies in Law) in 2007 and will hopefully graduate early 2010.

 

Favourite bands among many are: Green Carnation, London, Catapilla, Shark Island, Bloodbath, Gino Vannelli... well I could continue forever... :guitbannana:

Did you know:

 

Sir is an honorific used as a title (see Knight) and in several other modern contexts.

 

It was once used (without the person's name) as a courtesy title among equals, but in common usage it is now usually reserved for one of superior rank or status, such as an educator or commanding officer, or in age (especially by a minor); as a form of address from a merchant to a customer; in formal correspondence (Dear Sir, Right Reverend Sir); or to a stranger (Sir, you've dropped your hat).

 

Wikipedia tells more but all this leads me to believe that we should expect nothing but interesting and undisputed facts about our beloved music from you on this board. To that I say, welcome Sir.
