I was definitely not expecting it. It’s not as sweet as $50, but I think it usually hovers around the $70-80 mark for a more “prolific” band and cheaper for a few rungs below. But usually you get about 2-3 bands worth seeing for that price. $125 is a small festival ticket price, to my thinking. So no way it’s going to happen, for me, for one okay band.

If was Titan Touring the promoter will charge you double the cost, and tour if cancelled you would be $250 less in your wallet

Just leaving the Earth, Wind & Fire and Lionel Richie show.

Oh my fuck! What an incredible show! Easily one of the best I've ever been to. Both bands were phenomenal.

Saw Poets Of The Fall at Rock City in Nottingham last Saturday. Never thought i'd get to see them, as every time they have played here previously, the stars didn't align. But on Saturday they finally did and they didn't disappoint one bit..An utterly fantastic show

Skid row no longer rescheduling Australian dates.

My wife bought us tix to maidens tour next sept.

Myles Kennedy and slash coming back so may hit that up. Year of the tiger was a great album, hopefully plays some of that.

A whole year from now? I haven't seen a tour go on sale so far in advance in a long time.

Both were awesome.

Yep. Pity they aren't doing the cancelled best of the beast tour.

I think this one is basically somewhere in time album.

The Summer Set opening for Boys Like Girls in a minute.

That’s a sweet combo.

Was listening to their podcast today and The Broken View said they’d aim to get to Australia in 2024. That would make me delirious with glee.

Do they really draw that large of a crowd? I don't know if they've ever toured Canada, but I can't imagine them being able to fill one of our large venues.

I didn't take a close enough look at the billing, there were actually four bands that night: LØLØ (who's actually decent), The Summer Set, State Champs (I thought their set was better than TSS), and then Boys Like Girls (a whole tier higher than the rest, real good show, the dude can fuckin' sing live!). It was a great night.

Wembley Arena (not the football stadium) is about 12k,so they will get fairly close i would imagine.

No, I know. I still think they would not be able to play a venue like that in the PNW. Or even all the way down to California. In Mexico, absolutely.

Nice. That’s a cool line up. Yeah, I actually saw Boys Like Girls on their Love Drunk tour many years back now, and they slayed. I recall it being an awesome show.

Glamfest 2024 announced.
Slaughter and HEAT :)

Just bought my ticket now. Quite a few I could pass on, but no way Tyketto, Slaughter and HEAT (still not seen them yet) are coming out and I'm going to miss it. Now I'll sit in dread for the next few months as each band cancels for some reason or other, lol.

On paper, though, very exciting. I've seen Lynch Mob and Janet Gardner before and wouldn't mind seeing them again. Lynch Mob were really bland and legit seemed to avoid every song of theirs I loved when I saw them (with Oni Logan too, sadly - as in it would have been awesome if he could have sung on the classics), so hoping they play some of the classics of those first two albums this time around. If they did it'd be like seeing them for the first time as that first set list was just shit.

I liked Janet Gardner and as long as her voice holds up I'm sure I'll enjoy her again.

Was never a fan of Jetboy, but it's an okay band to see for "free" in addition to the bands I'm actually forking out the cash for. I wonder if they'll play 'Too late,' lol.

Cruel Intentions are cool too - shouldn't dismiss them. I actually quite like them and don't doubt they'd put on a pretty wicked live show.

Ragdoll had a few cool cuts too - I think? - that I'd hope they'd play live. Would have to brush up on Cruel Intentions and Ragdoll, but probably cool inclusions. Never really got a seat on the Wicked Smile bus, but they'll be cool to see live, I don't doubt.

Anyway, fingers crossed super hard that at least Slaughter and Tyketto make it out here. The prospect of seeing 'Forever Young' live is orgasmic.

You bought a ticket to see that? Or were you trying to work your way into a vaginal passage by joining someone who likes terrible music? ;)

To each their own, cob, but that sounds like the actual soundtrack to what is playing in Hell.

Tyketto is great.  Saw them for the first time on the 2020 Monsters of Rock Cruise.  Danny Vaughn still sounds excellent.  I just wish these guys would tour more.  I think Danny lives somewhere in Europe now so they hardly ever play the USA anymore.

I was also happy to see Lynch Mob on that same MORC with Oni.  They played the whole Wicked Sensation album in order which I thought was cool.  I've see nthem without Oni one time and it just wasn't the same.

I've never seen H.E.A.T with Kenny so that would be something I'd like to see also.

I'd definitely be attending this show if I had the opportunity.

Yeah, I’d be stoked to see Lynch Mob play the debut. It was crazy when I saw them because I thought I loved every song off those first two albums, but they seemed to pick any borderline slower bluesy number and avoided all the big catchy melodic songs. It was so weird. Wish I could remember the set list… I wonder if I can find it somewhere.

If this one is going to be one of their final shows, I’m pretty sure they’ll play all the classics. But yeah, bummer that Oni won’t be there, I assume.

Mate,

To have your daughter performing in a band alongside some of the artists mentioned is EPIC!!!

I can only imagine how proud you are. Nice one.

She doesn't really get it.

She's heard heaps of slaughter growing up but she won't realise until the show.

Had dinner with her tonight and they are doing all 3 shows which surprised me, I thought they'd only do Melbourne.

I've been trying to get them to do a cover to kind of engage the audience. Will depend on how many songs they get to do though.

But yeah, it's kinda cool to have her on the same gigs as bands I grew up listening to.
