First Goodwill Store scores in quite a few weeks...

Clutch - Transnational Speedway League...

The Offspring - Americana

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark*

*1st U.S. press on Epic Records. I already have a later issue on the Castle Recs. label and while I usually don't re-buy stuff, the Castle copy has always had an annoying, staticky background "buzz" when I play it, so I am hoping this one sounds better.

Another Goodwill Store stop, scored some damn fine '70s/80s cheez rock:

Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper: The Best of Blue Oyster Cult

Loverboy - Classics: Their Greatest Hits

Cinderella - Once Upon A... (w/promo stamp)

Bon Jovi - s/t *

*Yes, I am aware that I've long proclaimed Bon Jovi to be "the enemy" and all that ... but this album has "Runaway" on it and god dammit, I've always kinda sorta liked that song so for $1.99 I couldn't leave it there.

I'll turn in my Metal Pounders Union Local #666 membership card on my way out.... :rofl2:

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
