  1. I didn't expect to see CDs in a comic shop but still I'm glad to see them. Dream Theatre - Images and Words Metallica - Master of Puppets
  2. Extreme Power Metal - and extreme cutaway on Sam Totman's guitar. How deep a cutaway would anyone need to reach those high notes? But then again, this is Dragonforce.
  3. Agree! After several years of the same ol jokes, you will get the feeling that they've already stretched it too far. Yes, I liked and enjoyed the very first release but even that, I don't listen to it anymore.
  4. LEE RITENOUR - Rio JOHN WILLIAMS - The Ultimate Guitar Collection STEELY DAN - Greatest Hits STEVE VAI - Flexable (what a waste of money!!!) LITA FORD - Dancin' On The Edge STRYPER - Soldiers Under Command (Hollywood)
  5. Jeff Loomis - Plains of Oblivion Honeymoon Suite - Big Prize Night Ranger - Man In Motion Whitesnake - Slide It In
  6. Oh yeah! 80s Euro dance music like the "Nineteen Six Two Eight" by Europe (NOT Joey Tempest's, Sweden's). I also listen to some Canadian folk/traditional music (some French). Thanks to a radio station here in Alberta that played a whole variety of music like Classical, folk, modern folk, bluegrass, synth pop, jazz, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s rock, and even Metallica. Check out CKUA if you got a chance. Must be the coolest radio station ever.
  7. Since I was a teen, I've always been into heavy metal and hard rock. Maybe some 3 or 4 years ago, I've been enjoying several bluegrass bands. BLUEGRASS! Now, its NeoTango. The band that turned me to this genre is Gotan Project. Have a listen... What is the genre you enjoy that you enjoy that is just too far from the hard rock music we love?
  8. To answer the question "What is the rarest CD that nobody can't seems to find" - in my case all of the CDs listed in the HH Ebay Rarities. I've gotten tired of going to pawnshops here in my city because every trip always is a waste of time. I always frequent our several thrift shops here but I cannot remember when was the last time I got a good one. Forget about rare! Just anything hard rock that is not Bon Jovi, AC/DC or Def Leppard. Even just the second-tier hair bands CDs are nowhere to be found in Red Deer. This maybe the wrong thread to pour out my frustration. Sorry.
  9. JEFF SCHEETZ - Warp Speed TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA - Christmas Eve and Other Stories
  10. DEE COOPER - S/T (guitar shredder, produced by Herman Rarebell of the Scorpions) LYNYRD SYNYRD - Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd JULIAN BREAM - The Classical Guitar Collection DAN GIBSON'S SOLITUDES - The Classics
  11. 1. BILLY JOEL - Greatest Hits Volume I & Volume II 2. METALLICA - Masters of Puppets 3. RUSH - Gold (sort of The Best of) 4. MASQUERADE - Masquerade (1992) 5. LED ZEPPELIN - Led Zeppelin Box Set (1990) 6. RACER X - Second Heat (I don't consider this album perfect but keep coming back to this) 7. ZINATRA - The Great Escape 8. THE STYLE COUNCIL - Our Favourite Shop 9. BAD HABIT - Revolution 10. TNT - Intuition
  12. Airbourne - If they were serious in what they were doing then I hate it. Dream Theatre Anthrax - We are metal! You're not! Big deal! Can you say "Self-righteous"?
  13. Incredibles 2. Since it was a Disney movie, I already knew that there will be a twist - that either one or both of the siblings who were helping the superhero family will be the villain. I got that right - it was the genius sister! DISNEY = Predicatable
  14. Has anyone ever noticed that from time to time, some interesting CDs that are popping up in Walmart lately. And I'm not talking about remastered versions. Maybe a month ago, I found Scorpions Blackout in one of our Walmarts here in my place (we have 2 in our city). It's a Mexico pressed CD (clearly printed on the inlay). Its not a remastered version (I don't know if this has been remastered or re-released). It even has the black disc tray. The CD of Coverdale-Page is also still available. A couple of years ago, I got the Twisted Sisters Stay Hungry from the same Walmart. Anyone else found an original release from their neighborhood Walmart lately?
