Dirty Looks - Turn Of The Screw

Ozzy Osbourne - Speak Of The Devil

Nouveaux - Beginnings

Chuck Mangione - Best Of

All for a total of $10 :beerbang:

So no Taylor Dayne, Cher or Mariah Carey?

I picked up Mangione, what more do you want??? :thppt:

It could be worse, like Mili Vanilli! :yikes:

He picked up Mangione at the same time he picked up a Dirty Looks CD...? Beside revoking his MAFIA Card he should be :baneed: from this site for life as well as tared and feathered. I also believe his entire CD collection should be divided up amongst us all. And no fighting over the Taylar Dayne and Mangione CD's.

Wes already has it in his will that his collection will be divided amongst the MM. I know Pete is in for Mafia Fest next year. How about you Dave???

Would be nice... But with M3 and Rocklahoma it is hard to sneak off without the kid for another road trip. But... I'll see what I can do.

^^ They have CDs at Christmas Tree Shops? I was not aware of this. There's one of those stores up the road from my office. Hmmmm....

Anyway, two more used goodies today from GoHastings.com:

Misfits - WALK AMONG US

Cinderella - HEARTBREAK STATION (Hail Brittingham!)

...still no word on the fifth and final disc I ordered w/this recent batch (Misfits' LEGACY OF BRUTALITY)... haven't gotten an e-mail saying that it shipped, but haven't gotten a cancellation/out of stock notice on it either. Givin' it a few more days and then they're getting a phone call.

I remember they had c.d.'s when it first opened up and then it sorta disappeared. Went today with the Warden and I found the rack once more :bananamac:

The c.d.'s were not that cheap ($6.00 each).

Good Luck Keef!!

Lo and behold, I check my e-mail this AM and there's a message from Hastings telling me that my Legacy of Brutality CD has finally shipped. Dunno why it took 'em so long but at least it wasn't a cancellation/out-of-stock notice.

Duran Duran - See Me Repeat Me

Their first demo (4 tracks) from '79 with Andy Wickett on vocals. Very punky-funky!

Is this out on CD..If so where did ya get it Stef?

Andy is selling these on his website: http://www.andywickett.com/buy.htm. For £10 inc. postage and shipping. Very cool sounding stuff.

Read the story behind his departure: http://www.andywicke.../duranduran.htm. He gave away the rights to 'Rio' & 'Girls On Film' for £600. I asked him 'bout the situation and he said "DD screwed him". Yep, they sure did. He has shifted some serious loads of demos so maybe he's getting back something.

Did you get that Jez? ;)

Watch a special on Duran Duran on Netflix last week. Very underrated musicians. I think they were well known for their videos and fashion as much as their music. I got to give them their props. THEY SURE CAN PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENTS VERY WELL.

    • FRONTIERS EXPANSION, NEW LABEL IMPRINT AND MAJOR SIGNING NEWS! A special message from Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Label Group: Dear friends, I am thrilled to announce the creation of Frontiers Label Group, which will umbrella Frontiers Music Srl and further labels, the first of which is our new imprint FLG. This expansion allows us to diversify and strengthen our position in the rock and metal landscape, while continuing to uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning. While Frontiers Music Srl remains home to melodic rock, hard rock, and metal artists, FLG will be dedicated to pushing the boundaries of rock and alternative music. This bold step marks our continued evolution as a leader in the rock and metal genres, and it is with immense pride that we welcome rock icons Skunk Anansie to the FLG family as the first signing to our new imprint. The signing of Skunk Anansie is a meaningful moment in the history of Frontiers, an important landmark in our development as one of the leading international rock and metal labels. This is only the beginning! We are excited to bring more news and announcements in the coming months as we continue to grow and expand Frontiers Label Group, our imprints and our roster of incredible artists. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new journey together! Long Live Rock n’ Roll!! Serafino
    • New song 'The End Of Time'.
    • New video for 'Without You'.
    • Added Framing the Red over on the main site recently: Framing the Red discography reference list of music CDs. Heavy Harmonies Their website: Framing The Red Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/framingtheredband Their YouTube channel: (23) Framing the Red Official Page - YouTube They have four releases, and all are quite good in my opinion. If I had to describe them, I'd say this is what Gunshine would sound like if they went in a more southern rock direction.  Here are some of my favorite tracks... Crossroads   Whiskey & Weed   Holy Water   Mississippi Hippie   Heroes   Bonnie & Clyde   Rockin' Into the Night (38 Special cover)   "Crossroads" and "Heroes" are probably my two faves.  *I will give a word of warning:  if you decide to purchase any of their discs, they are barebones releases with just the CD in a cardboard slipcase. I enjoy the music enough that that's not an issue for me though.  @lettard @KarpetRydOFunk @tts42572 @AlphaMale @Dead Planet @Mr.AOR @tobi is an animal I think all of you gentlemen should give these guys a listen and see what you think.
    • H.E.A.T - 1000 Miles Vega - Hands In The Air The Defiants - Stay Issa - River of Love I'm at work right now so that's all I know off the top of my head but I'll look through my library for more when I get a chance.
    • Maybe anything by the Darkness
    • Wig wam - hard to be a rock n roller
    • Saw these guys first time a couple of years ago, when they were 16-17 years old, they are absolutely awesome. They have been touring for a few years now, performing their own songs, yet haven't released anything, until now. I have tickets to see them this saturday, opening for Mercenary. First single and video:
    • I want to compile quite an extensive playlist of hard rock songs that has a key change in the end. Why? Cause I think it sounds awesome Some well known exambles are: Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer Wig Wam - In My Dreams Danger Danger - Don't Blame it on Love H.E.A.T - Beg Beg Beg
