What CDs did you buy this week?

In the mail today:

Jesse Strange - Looking For Some Strange

 

When I bought both the Jesse Strange CDs the other night, I decided to conduct an experiment.  I bought one CD from CD Baby, who are located in Portland, OR.  I bought the other from Impulse Music, who are located in Roselle, IL.  Illinois, at least on the map, and in theory, is quite a bit closer to Ohio than Oregon.  Still got the CD Baby disc first.  Kudos to CD Baby!

Impulse is usually a bit slower on delivery but you can usually find better prices and more obscure stuff there. I like them both. CD Baby is fast with delivery and so is NEH Records. All class sites.

Finally got the Jap copy of DARK STAR today.

There were two copies up for auction and they were half an hour apart so i decided to go for the first one because many a times this has occured , i have let the first one go only to see the next one jump in price and then i usually miss out.

Well this method backfired on me big time today. I ended up paying US$62.50 for it only to see the second one go for US$30.00 fu in' :fu in' fu in' fu in' fu in' .
